We are headed to WDW Feb 4-9. We have 4 park days, and plan on doing MK 2 days, DAK 1, and Epcot 1. Because I want to avoid the Super Bowl parade, I scheduled our MK days for the 6th and 8th, but both of those days have "special ticketed events" which look to be Early Morning/nighttime Magic. How much do these effect crowds? And our planned DAK day is morning extra magic hour. Will it be busy enough that I should switch it with our Epcot day to avoid EMH?

They sell pretty limited tickets to those events so I don't think it affects crowd levels much at all.

EMM (Early Morning Magic) has no impact on crowds, so nothing to worry about there. It’s only in the low hundreds of people. One bonus with an EMM morning is that park our are guranteed to not change from 9AM regular opening.

For the “Nighttime Magic” I assume you mean the DAH (Disney After Hours) date that is on 2/8 from 8pm-11pm? Folks with DAH tickets can officially get in the park at 7pm and in the past have been let in as earlly as 4pm, similar to the MNSSHP and MVMCP events. DAH ticket counts are probably somewhere well into the thousands, so yes, it is possible you may see a bit of an attendance increase in the 4pm+ timeframe on that day. But with the overall ticket count still being pretty low, IMHO it’s more of a rounding error in terms of any increase in attendance and something you are not likely to feel in any material way. It is not like MNSSHP and MVMCP which sell a gazillion tickets and create a bit of a zoo 4pm+.

I’d go about your plans as normal.

Hope that helps!
