Early morning magic

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has read if early morning magic will be extended into October? I was hoping to do it on my upcoming trip. Thanks!

I wish I could help you - I've been wondering the same thing and checking the website daily to see if times are available. I have a sinking feeling (given how much I'm hearing about lack of hotel availability, coupled with the fact that so many days will be shortened by MNSSHP) that they will not offer it in October at all. I'm sort of dreading seeing November appear on the calendar with dates available on it.

I tend to agree with @TwinMomEsq. You didn't see many EMMs in April, a very busy month. I bet October could be the same way.

Exactly when in Oct were you looking for and what park? According to Kenny the Pirate there are several early magic hours. Here's what he currently has listed:

10/5 - EP
10/6 - MK
10/7 - AK

10/13 - MK
10/14 - AK
10/15 - HS
10/16 - AK
10/19 - EP
10/20 - MK

Of course, that's subject to change.

Edit: for what it's worth, Touring Plans matches up with this schedule.

I believe the OP is referring to Early Morning Magic in Fantasyland not Extra Magic Hours. Wish Disney would change the wording a little...its kind of confusing.

Yeah, and rename them something much less confusing like they did with Ft. Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge.

They moved a lot of openings to 8am for the last week of October and some earlier in the month too last year so I don't think we'll be seeing EMM much in October.

Disney parks moms panel replied (on May 4th) to a person that they are set to expand into October any day soon... but I spoke to a cast member via their chat this evening who wrote that it's not scheduled to go past September... but sometimes very popular items like this can add more dates at another date. So I'll honestly not sure at this point.

If I recall correctly there were no EMM scheduled during October last year but we sure did enjoy those 8am openings - and we especially enjoyed the 7am EMH!

Both of those sources -- Moms Panel & Phone/Chat CMs -- have a reputation for giving out inaccurate or just plain wrong information. The best thing to do is to keep watching message boards and checking the Disney website.

Along the same lines, we will be at Disney November 18-23rd. Does anyone know if EMM has been offered during that time in the past? I'm about to start booking restaurants and it is impossible to plan when you don't have all the schedules! Lol!

It's not out yet. I would book meals for the EMM days as if it wasn't available. You can always cancel your dining reservations if you do get EMM. But if for some reason EMM isn't available, at least you have your backup.

It wasn't offered that week last year and the MK opened at 8 every day that week, starting Sunday. I would expect that same pattern this year but the 8 am opening for thanksgiving week most likely won't be announced until early November.

I am wondering the same, but I am the week prior to Thanksgiving. I was there the same week last year and can't recall.

October is now out! They switched to Tuesday and Thursday and they aren't offering it the week of the 7-14
