Are you allowed access to the rest of the park? Asking bc I would like to go get in line for space mountain before the rope drop crowd.

That won't be a problem even if you can't get all the way to Space Mtn.
That attraction will not have a backed-up line for quite awhile following rope drop.
It's just not a "must-get-there-first-thing" attraction anymore.
