On EMH days is it better to do that or pick another one? I am sure that there are pros and cons both ways but I would appreicate hearing about your experiences! Thanks, Beachfan

The prevailing wisdom seems to be to pick a different park, although on our recent trip we found that EMH didn't really impact the morning too much.

I won't impact the morning, but it does have a huge impact from about lunch time on.

Do you actually plan on being there when the park opens up and do you have park hoppers? If you are then it's a great way to get in a lot of the bigger attractions in before everyone else. But if you're not going to be there when it opens and use it to your full advantage then I would just pick another park. I was there last month and went to AM EHM a few times and I had no problem with it, but I'm a serious tourer and I'm there open to close. During AM EHM at AK we rode EE 4 times in a row, it was awesome. We also got some great pictures in front of the tree without anyone there and got to ride dinosaur. So we definetly used that hour wisely.

If you have park-hopper tickets, do the early EMH and then hop away before lunch. If you don't have hoppers, pick a different park. www.easywdw.com has a great explanation and suggestions.

That says it all. It's perfect if you can take off when it starts getting packed.

You didn't say whether you were an on-site guest or not...

If you are an on-site guest, get there for EMH and you will be surprised at how many attractions you can enjoy before the park opens up for off-site guests! If you are staying off-site, I would not go to a park on the day it has EMH in the morning. If you are staying off-site, choose the park that had EMH the night before and get there at rope drop. The best scenario is to have park hoppers so you do have the option to hop to another park if the afternoon crowd gets too big.

Happy Planning!
