Early Morning Esplanade Security Checkpoints Situation?

We have a 7:00 AM breakfast reservation at Goofy's Kitchen. We are staying on Harbor Boulevard and my concern is that the security checkpoints will be blocking our access across the Esplanade and into Downtown Disney at that time in the morning but nobody will be staffing them. Has anybody done this before? Are the pathways open? We'd probably have to leave our hotel by 6:30 PM? Would you say so? We're staying at the Best Western Park Place Inn & Mini Suites literally at the crosswalk over to the Esplande's entrance. Just don't want any surprises on the day of and come to find out that we will have to walk AROUND the whole property and be late for our breakfast ressie.

My daughter and her friend ran into this problem, they called me and I told them to just walk through, they said they had no problem.

There isn't anything "closing" the esplanade off between Harbor & DTD that early in the morning. You can just walk straight through

If security is holding people up just tell them where you are eating, they will escort you across to DTD.
