My husband and I are taking our daughter who will be 4 to Disney World in January.
My child, regardless of when she goes to bed wakes up at 5:30am. We're central time so we're HOPING for 6 or 6:30 when we are at Disney. And she's usually starving right when she wakes up.
We're staying at Caribbean Beach.
Plan idea 1. Have some bananas or something to feed her when she first wakes up the head for the park of the day and do a quick service breakfast there
Plan idea 2. have some kind of breakfast at the resort (?)
plan 3. Distract her with TV until we leave for the resort and have breakfast there

We are doing deluxe dining plan so will have plenty of snack credits too if that could somehow be workable?

This was my kids when they were younger! We always made sure to have something in the room for them - yogurt and a banana from the food court the night before was always a good option - and they’d eat/watch a bit of tv while DH and I got dressed.

We’d *usually* just head to the parks from there - but, while my kids needed food ASAP in the a.m., they don’t necessarily eat big breakfasts ... often that would be enough until an early lunch or mid-morning snack :)

I would use some snack credits and have something in the room. Also, I always have some sort of snack on me while in park, in case hunger strikes while in line. (Goldfish crackers).

I have an early riser too...he earns a quarter every morning he stays in his room until 6:20am. He doesn't have to sleep but just stay in the room. I would plan to have a small breakfast in your room when she wakes up. You could use snack credits the night before or bring some favorites from home. (I usually toss a tupperware full of bars and breakfast cookies in my personal item.) My early-riser typically wants a 'second breakfast', especially on vacation. So, PPO breakfasts at the park still work out for us even though he eats in the room. If we do not have a breakfast planned, we tend to eat our lunch early around 11.

I would plan to have something for her to eat in the room. If you are using the DxDDp and she wakes early, I would plan PPO breakfasts in the parks you are heading to. In the MK you can take her to Crystal Palace or CRT, or my personal favorite lately, The Plaza. BOG is an option as well, but I like a character meal for children, although the Plaza food was delicious.

In DHS you could take her to Hollywood and Vine, and in Epcot Garden Grill is awesome for youngsters. She could meet the Chipmunks. Akershus for a Princess lover is nice as well. All but CRT are 1 TS credit, which leaves you plenty for lunch if you feel the need, and dinner.

sound exactly like my kid, at home we have an "ok to wake" clock that turns green when she can get out of bed. She for sure will want a 2nd breakfast (and we will want breakfast) so your schedule sounds a lot like ours. Good idea on the breakfast bars from home. Any other tips? :)

Our current dining plan is thus with some big holes, sounds like you have some great ideas so if you have any to fill in my empty spots that would be great! (or point out flaws in my plan is good too!)

Your daughter sounds like me (except for the early riser part). I keep fruit/yogurt in the room so I don't get hangry. Then we either get breakfast at the hotel or do breakfast in the parks (yeah i know it's ideal ride time....but NO RIDE is worth my hanger or my 3 year old's hanger)

the hanger is REAL. My girl comes by it naturally, I'm well known for my hangry meltdowns

DAK day is a problem IMO. You have a late breakfast, and will have almost no time in the park before you pack it up and head to dinner. Personally, I would either ditch Boma and add Tusker House in the park, or move Boma to as early as possible and eat a light lunch in the park.

I would try to move Akershus to breakfast if possible. I also would book H&V for breakfast if possible.

On your Magic Kingdom day I would plan a nice signature meal. Most are kid friendly and I think you will want a break from the buffet type meals you have booked.

We like Narcoossees at the Grand Floridian, but if you want to venture out to the Epcot resort area Yachtsman is nice too. We also like Trattoria al Forno, but that one is 1 TS credit. Delicious, though. You could save one of those for your DHS day, if you wish.

You have a child who likes to get up early and have a dining plan that is a good one for two solid meals a day with room to spare for lunch. I would take advantage of her schedule and try to have breakfast in parks whenever possible. You get a jump start on attractions if you can get a PPO meal, or at least you are fed and ready to go.

Just as a warning so you aren't taken by surprise, Boma only serves breakfast and dinner so even though you have what most would consider to be more early lunch time, it will be breakfast food and not lunch/dinner food. Now that is not to say they do not have savory options available, but if DD is not open to new foods then options will be far more limited for her. If you are looking for something similar to Boma though and want a lunch menu, I would second swapping Boma to Tusker House, plus it is a character meal and you do not have to leave the park until closer to your dinner ADR.

Since you are doing the DDxDP a fast nutritious breakfast will be easy to put together using your snack credits. You'll find bananas, apples, cut fruit, berries, pastries, toast, yogurt, boiled eggs at the resort's food court, all snack credit eligible. Not sure how the cereal boxes and juice are priced but they are there as well. Of course your hot beverages are free courtesy of the refillable cup. You'll find tea, coffee, and hot chocolate available. When I made the hot chocolate I used milk instead of water and popped it into the food court's microwave. This is how we ate breakfast most days on the dining plan and it made a fine Continental style breakfast which suited my traveling party's eating style in the mornings. This leaves TS credits for restaurant meals later in the day.

We always buy snack food regardless of our dining plan. Our boys like the milk and cereal bars, gummies and sunny d when we leave the room because no matter where we end up for brakefast it could be an hour after transport and or lines. You could do snacks extra magic hours then get brakefast when the park opens at 8 or 9

We all have breakfast in our room. It makes it easier and uses less time. DH and I shower in the am the kids are waking up and eating or if it’s a very early morning, they will take their breakfast with them and eat at some point.
