Early moring is it only offered to onsite stays?

US/IOA does not really offer early admission. Occasionally it is offered to some who book certain packages, and is limited to one ride only (usually Shrek or Spiderman). In the summer they usually open the gates early anyway. I think I have been in as early as 8:30 when the posted opening time is 9:00.

Right, just show up early at 8am. The wait goes really fast, and you'll be first into the park. If you're at IOA, walk quickly to Hulk and get a front seat ride.
Most people don't like to wake up early because they are on vacation. They show up at 11am and that's when the crowd really arrives.
