Early MK breakfast worth it?

We have a breakfast ADR at Be Our Guest at 8:25. It was a last minute decision because I wanted to get in the park early. Is it worth it to get in the park a little early? It is on a non EMH day. Is that early enough to see Anna and Elsa or any other benefits? We have an 8 year old and an 8 month old.

Have a great trip!

I think it's worth it for the pictures. Everyone should experience an empty MK once! That said, with an 8:25am ressie that's probably all you will get.

It's definitely worth it.

Also, 8:25 is not "late" for BOG. With the QS at BOG (and especially if you take advantage of pre-ordering on-line) you will be seated and have your food around 8:30am. You will finish your breakfast long before 9am. Therefore, you can be out and ready to line up for Anna & Elsa. Definitely keep your reservation. Just make sure you check back to be sure the MK opening hour does not change! And arrive ON TIME or even early. Arrive at MK gate around 7:50am.

Here is a link to a great blow-by-blow of the timing of the breakfast http://www.easywdw.com/uncategorize...gdom-morning-touring-over-spring-break-32715/

Have a great time!

We had an 8:15 ADR last Sunday. We were among the first guests to check in at the gate, and we didn't dawdle for pictures, and had pre-ordered our food, so we were amongst the first people to be seated for breakfast. We had plenty of time to take pictures around the restaurant while we waited for our food, and we didn't take long to eat breakfast. We did kinda stall a bit because I wasn't sure if they'd let us out into the park if we finished too early, but in retrospect, we should have left as soon as we were done. We had our first Mine Train ride at 8:42 and our second at 8:47. When we came off the second time, we witnessed the beginning of the RD horde coming around the corner near the Tea Cups and we took off for Peter Pan, though the CMs at the entrance told us we could probably run through the FP+ queue one more time (that's where they were letting the breakfast people go through) if we wanted to.

That's my long way of saying...with an 8:25 ADR you're still going to be let in as soon as they start admitting breakfast guests. I highly recommend pre-ordering (we did ours just the night before) because it cuts down on a lot of time. You'll have plenty of time to eat and get to A&E.

It is good as long as it remains a pre-opening ADR. If they change the opening time of MK, it's no good being stuck for breakfast. So be sure to keep track of changes in MK hours.

image.jpg This happened in 2002 when we had an early ADR at MK . I remember the year because as we were waiting for the ride open, the CM asked if we had a camera. I clearly remember thinking 'it must be a new security measure post 9/11'. Never, expected to see Piglet, Eeyore, & Pooh come out in the honeypots! We got to ride the whole ride with a Pooh! We were lucky enough to be sprinkled with a whole honeypot of pixie dust!!

We just finished our trip. We had an 8:15 reservation at CRT. They changed opening to 8 AM after I made reservation. I was a little disappointed that they change the opening but then we were still able to get in before everyone else, went over to Peter Pan and walked on before we went to breakfast.

This is exactly why I would hesitate to book any pre-opening breakfast at MK any more. They move to 8 AM a lot and usually without any significant notice, sometimes very last minute too. You are either going to be stuck eating while you need to be riding or you are going to have to drop a reservation that is probably not something you can move to a better time. If you are a gambler, book the 8 AM ADR and hope for the best.
