Early May

Planning a trip for May 4-8. Got a good deal on the WL. Just wondering what crowds are like since it is after Easter but before summer vacation. Anyone been to WDW at this time

We were there quite a few years ago at that time. Crowds weren't too bad - not anything like Easter. I do remember that it was very, very hot.

My 3 DD's were more interested in getting back to the pool to swim than to stay in the parks for rides & attractions.

It's a good time to take advantage of the water parks.

I have been 5 times in the first two weeks of May. The crowds have always been easy to deal with except on each parks early entry day. The MK has been a madhouse on Saturdays. The weather runs from the high 70's to the mid 90's. Once it was mid 90's every day. Once it was High 7o's - low 80's every day. There isn't much rain either. Sometimes none at all.

hi: we love going the first 2 weeks of may-low crowds, not too humid. we also like september for the same reason, and october and november for the food and wine festival.

And don't forget the Flower and Garden Show at Epcot, another bonus of going in May!

We were there last May at that time and I remember it being the hottest May in FL in years, it was REALLY HOT, but there wasn't a drop of rain.

We'd go to the parks for a few hours in the morning, have lunch and head back to the resort to hang out in the pool. At least we didn't have to deal with those "afternoon showers" that typically hit from June through Sept.

The crowds were very managable, definitely the calm after the storm

Even our resort was very quiet and many times we practically had the pool to ourselves.

It was hot, but I'd go again at that time, oh hey, we are going then, how about that! We'll actually be checking out when you're checking in.
