Early June 2005 trip, reservation and rates?

I am planning our June 7th to June 16th trip to the “World” and enjoying every minute of it. Can anyone share room reservation rates for the same period of time? Any discounts available at this time?

As of right now there are only regular season rack room rates. But I am anxiously waiting for discount codes to come out. I check www.mousesavers.com on a daily basis.

Last year, with a discount code (I think it came out in April) we paid $99 (tax included) for a moderate. I can't remember for sure if it was a general code, or one for people with Disney Visas, but i think the rate was available to everyone.

Hi fellow Ohioan! I made my ressies for our June 05 trip a few weeks ago. I have a AAA rate at POP for June 13-23. I think my deposit was $104, but the total should come down once codes or AP rates come out.

Want to try out Coronado Springs this trip. I know that I should have made a reservation already but I haven't. Sure hope I can get a discount, either general or AP.

I have the AAA rate for Grand FLoridian and Hard Rock Hotel. Am really hoping for AP rates. We'll be there July 3 - 19. I think last year the AP rates came out in early May.

I sure hope they come up with the AP rates prior to May. That would be cutting it close to our 06/07/05 date. Hope it is in February or April at the latest.

I'm hoping for AP discounts too for June 22-July 2 for the BC. I'm not sure what was available last year for this resort. My kids really want to try SAB.

Me too! Me too! I don't have any reservations made yet - was planning to do that in January. We're going June 1-6 and want to stay on site for the first time. We're going moderate and leaning towards POR. I notice the general code in the paper is good through April. So I'm wondering if the codes for us will be out around February or so? I've never done this before and I'm SO SCARED I'll miss out! It's fun planning, though!

I’m a weirdy when it comes to the planning too! I just love it. Since it’s a Disney trip I get to enjoy the planning stage even longer. Stayed at the French Quarter, when it was Port Orleans, and Dixie Landing when It was just Dixie Landing and the Boardwalk Villas when I was able to get 40% off on a 2 bedroom and had my sister, father and I paying for the six of us. Thought we would give Coronado Springs a try. I always love trying a new hotel. Last visit, four years ago, I made reservations for meals at many of the other hotels just to get a peak. What fun I had tricking the men in our party into touring the hotels by linking a meal to them!

Don't be scared just enjoy the fun and keep your fingers crossed for those discounts.

We really enjoyed our stay at Coronado Springs last June. I think that's a great choice! I was willing to stay there with just the AAA discount, but was thrilled with the code for $99.

I believe the codes for June came out around spring break time last year. I've booked AAA rates at the Poly (10% off GV) for mid-June and am hoping for a better deal on the codes.

Any discounts yet for your June trips? I tried to get a quote on a 9 night MYW package with tickets and I could only get an 8 night quote. The price quoted on the package was very close to rack rate, no deal at all. I think I'm finally going to call tomorrow and make my room only reservation and then hope for some type of discount be it a general room only discount or an AP discount.

Took care of air and was glad that we will be there for the free Magic Express, going to give it a shot. Hope I won't be disappointed since we are used to direct Towncar service and grocery stop. Found a nice couple who run a grocery delivery business so between the savings on the Towncar and the cost of delivery of groceries I should save about $100.00.

Just curious, is the grocery service that you will be using wegoshop? I am planning on using them for our March trip given recommendations from some other DIS members.

Yes it is. I can not recommend them since I have not used them yet but their fast reply to all my silly e-mail questions was very refreshing. If Magic Express is a hit then I suppose they will have tons of new business. Eric and Becki Brown are the Associate Owners of the We Go Shop who serve DW.

We are also planning a June trip it was going to be May but don't want to pull daughter from last weeks of school. waiting for codes to come soon I hope. I saw somewhere that AK was 134.00 trying to find it again, we stayed iat coronado springs last year for 79.00 nt it is nice and quiet there. If anyone gets code please pm me I'll do the same.

Made reservations with US Air prior to knowing about their financial issues. Hope they will still be flying in June.

I think that is a great idea to keep in touch with our June trips. We are also going in June, the first week. We are a family of 5. I just booked a room to hold it. The reservationist was very nice. I called with questions, he suggested I book the room so we would have one. And when we see cheaper rates come out to just call back for an adjustment. Does that sound right? I am new to all this. I have been to Disney but this is my first time on property, I am more excited than the kids. How can we keep in touch?
