Early Entry w/Universal offsite pkg

I'm looking at packages on the UO website and they mention "Early Park Admission to Islands of Adventure" when booking a partner hotel. Is this the same early entry as onsite guests? Has anyone done this with an offsite (partner) hotel and were there any problems? Thinking of a quick trip to IoA for DD's birthday (she thinks we're not able to go there until next summer!)

The only way you get early admission with an offsite partner hotel is if you purchase the Harry Potter Package and by all reports, it has worked very well.

They list this one as the Orlando 2-Park Getaway Package on UO's website. If you start the checkout process they have this link for early entry and it says:

"Enjoy Early Park Admission one (1) hour prior to Universal’s Islands of Adventure regular scheduled park opening. Offer valid 7 days a week for travel; valid at Harry Potter and the Forbidden JourneyTM, Flight of the HippogriffTM, Dragon ChallengeTM and The Cat in the HatTM.

*Requires theme park admission. Transportation is not provided to Early Park Admission. Offer valid 7 days a week for travel through 12/31/11. Only valid for Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations guests who purchase a complete vacation including hotel and theme park tickets. Standard operating hours and availability of specific attractions are subject to change without notice."

It wouldn't make or break my trip, but it would be super if DD and I could get into the park early. We are going only one day and only for WWoHP - anything else is gravy, but since I've never been to IoA it would be nice to make the most of the day there.
