Not sure if everyone saw yet, but other websites are saying that Universal has all but officially stated that as of Sept 2nd, early entry will ONLY be at the Studios and Diagon Alley. It will no longer be at both or at IOA .If true , it Should be interesting to see how this plays out in the next few months..I really hope it isn't true, but I figured it would be the case.Interesting with all the added onsite early entry guests how it will work.

Interesting. This is the first I've heard about this. I imagine they are not seeing early admission at IOA this summer as being well used.

Probably..But I can't see the logistics of this..you have 2 rides at Diagon alley, one of which won't likely operate at early entry ,which leaves gringotts and Ollivanders....All the early entry people all doing entry for one ride...the waits will be ridiculous, even in off-season.Doesn't seem like it would be much of a perk if the wait times for early entry will be more than the rest of the day( maybe )..At least in Hogsmeade you have 3 rides plus Ollivanders.

Where are you seeing this discussed? Maybe they'll put express pass on Forbidden Journey if early admission is discontinued.

Facebook and one of the sites we can't name here..One of the Universal Tms that posts over there said it was pretty much a sure thing..Until Universal publishes it , I will hold out hope..

I haven't seen it mentioned on Orlando United yet and there seem to be quite a few insiders over there. I'll keep my eyes out for it.

By Facebook, do you mean here: https://www.facebook.com/UniversalOrlandoResort?fref=ts or some other page?

If this is true there are going to be some unhappy people. I have planned on early entry for both.

Me too :(
I know alot of people are saying that it is no big deal since off season is lower crowds, but even in the slower times Hogsmeade early entry was always busy, and that was with 3 rides and a show..How will it be with only ONE ride and ONE show operating? If this is true, than it may be time to limit early entry to onsite..Early entry is no longer a perk when only one ride will be running and everyone and their grandmother is heading for that one ride

They could open something else like Despicable Me or Transformers to help offset things. There are lots of possibilities that could make it work.

I wouldn't worry too much about there not being enough attractions. The reports we've gotten so far say DA isn't crowded at all other than the ride during early entry. It's a fantastic time to get your shopping and looking around done.

This had to be expected. Hard to imagine there would be enough people doing early entry at IOA once September hits for it to make sense from a staffing perspective.

So does anyone have any guesses as to how long gringotts wait will be with only studios being open. I know it's a really slow time of year; that's why we go then. I'm getting nervous.

We are going in early October and now I'm seriously debating my decision to pay for Royal Pacific for 2 nights. Was hoping to go to EE 1 day for each park.

:confused3

Each night gives you two early admissions. You really only need one night.

True. We get in late Sunday so are at the Hampton Inn south of Universal. Have reservations at RP the next 2 nites before heading to the in-laws on the coast. Guess I have to decide soon…
