Early entry question

Okay, I just booked and during the checkout it showed our arrival date as the date for the early admission. Is it simply using our date as a "start" date. The early entry can be used once any of our days right. We won't be going until the next day. I just wanted to be clear on that. Thanks

if you are staying onsite, the early entry perk is valid for your entire stay including the day you check out.

If you purchased a package at an offsite hotel, the early admission is linked to your park ticket, so whichever day you use that ticket is the day that you will get the early admission.

We are saying offsite, but at a Universal Preferred hotel. I was pretty sure that that was how it worked, but thanks for the confirmation.

You booked your hotel through www.universalorlando.com along with your tickets, correct?

you need to book thru UO resorts as damo posted the link above, at the partner hotel to recieve the park perk.


if you don't, you will not recieve those perks.
they are for package bookings thru uo resorts reservations only.

Now for early entry, 2 questions; What time does the parking garage open, and what is the advantage if any to preferred parking? I know this is alot of questions . sorry

garage opens at least one hour prior to park opening. (early entry)


preferred parking gives you a few feet closer to the exit.
not worth it in my opinion.

We have never done early entry from offsite, but I would imagine that since garage opens 2 hours before regular park opening (to be open one hour prior to early entry) the parking lot would not be very full. Probably would not need preferred parking.

The only difference in regular vs. preferred parking is the floor level you park on. Preferred parking is located on the third level which is the same level as the main walkways to CityWalk and the parks so there would be no stairs to deal with. I used to park in Preferred all the time but then decided it wasn't worth it.
