Which way is the best way to go? I can't decide if it would be best to go to MK in the am for early entry, or skip the ee day and go the day that they are having e ride night.
I'm thinking AK might be good on ee day because they say the animals are out and about early in the am. Has anyone else found this to be true?
TIA

I love the EE nights. The lines move sooo quickly since they "limit attendance." I just learned you can purchase your ee pass on arrival (of your stay not just the ee night) and trade it on when there is no line closer to park closing. Last time we stood on line at 3:30 so as not to be "sold out"

I think a lot depends on what type of rides you are interested in riding. If you have young kids that enjoy the Fantasyland rides, I would definitely hit Early Entry. If you prefer the thrill rides, go to E-ride night. I know many people attend E-ride night and experience no lines, but I think sometimes it depends. We were there in early Mar. last year and we were only able to ride each E-ride once, it was very crowded.

I don't think I'd be able to pick one over the other. I enjoy them both for different reasons.

EE allows you get done with the Fantasyland rides, and a few Tomorrowland rides before the crowds arrive. You can get several rides in early and also grab a fastpass or two. If you are lucky, you'll be able to spend the rest of the morning ahead of the crowds.

E ride nights allows you ride the major rides over and over again. The waits time may be very short. When my son and I attended an e night in August 2001, we rode Buzz 10 times. We could have done the same thing on the mountains, but son couldn't pull himself away from Zurg.

Are you a morning person? You won't mind ee mornings on your vacation then...

I just don't know how tired I'll be for e-nights. Besides, don't like paying extra for it.

Couple things to keep in mind.....
EE is one extra hour vs. E-night is 3.
EE vs E-night....there are different attractions open! Check the schedule.
Like a previous post said....take care of the Fantasyland rides at EE and the mountains at night!!
E-night is an extra charge.
E-night is only for MK.
EE is different parks on different days.

We do both! We just make sure we do not plan an EE day on the day after E-night.
We do however do EE then back to the resort to rest for the afternoon and still do E-night. That hour in the morning really doesn't make that much difference in sleep time for us. But the rest in the afternoon helps keep the energy going for the night.

We always do both... reason being:
1) different rides are available in MK for EE than for E ticket night.
2) the other parks don't have E ticket nights
3) we like to get up and go and ride and ride, then head back to the resort about noon for rest and lunch, then go back in the afternoon to another no ee morning park.

Consider that for EE morning at MK the following rides are open:
those in Fantasyland
Space Mountain
Buzz Lightyear
Astro Orbiter

During E ticket night, you get:
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder
Haunted Mansion
Country Bears
Alien Encounter
plus the 3 in Tomorrowland mentioned above

There is nothing like being in the MK at night!
There is nothing like being in the MK first thing in the morning!

Do you know how many times you can ride ToT and RnR during an EE morning?

AK is always great very early... more animals are out and active.

The only park we dont' consistantly do EE for is Epcot, because we don't find it as necessary. We just don't go to Epcot on Wednesdays. We get there 1st thing on another day, and go straight to Test Track. However, once Mission Space opens, there may be more of a need to do EE mornings there.
