Early Entry help

We are going in June for our first trip and Studios is open for Early Entry the whole month. I’m curious if we should ride Minions on our way back to DA or just go right to DA? Our plan is to try and do some spells before it gets too crowded but not sure if the Minions will take away too much of that time?

We’ll have 3 days and Express Pass.

Go straight to DA. With 3 days and EP Minions shouldn’t be a problem. I know it can get backed up but we’ve never waited more than 20 minutes (and that’s only because it’s like a theater where a big group goes in and the next big group has to wait to move in).

An uncrowded DA for spells is well worth it (DA is also nice later in the evening)

I second the recommendation above to go straight to DA. There is not a lot of time when it's less crowded and with EP you can ride Minions almost any time. We did once find it too busy to wait in the EP line at Minions but that was the Tues before Thanksgiving mid-afternoon. It looked like a half hour wait to us. We skipped it and came back later and it was down to the usual 10. But I would also spend all day in the HP parts of the parks so I might not be the most objective person to ask.
