But I was thinking about it and wondering if you had to be a resort guest to get into the extra magic hour?

If you weren't staying at a resort, couldn't you just park at one of the resorts and then hop on Disney transportation?

The times that we have done it, they asked to see our resort keys before entry.

You used to be able to just slide in with the rest of the crowd. Now they ask for your room key before they let you in early.

Why should anyone flame you? You just proposed parking at a resort you're not staying at, avoiding the parking fee for day guests, and trying to take advantage of a benefit you don't deserve! Why would anyone take issue with that? ;)
And what are you going to tell the security guard at the resort you are trying to park at?

Years we went to EE park they asked to see resort ID.So I don't think what you want to do will work.:wave2:

Resort Id's are required. I wouldn't try it if I were you.

Uh oh! There's blood in the water now and the sharks are going to have a field day with this one. Next time start off with "I have a friend who is going to WDW...." ;)

I think, but am not sure since I've never had a car in WDW, that you can only park at a resort for 3 hours if you're not staying at that resort. So you'd run the risk of something happening to your car while you were at the park (not sure if they ticket you or how they enforce that limit). Also, if you do park there with the intention of moving your car later, you have a great chance of getting to the park for EE and not being allowed in because they're checking for resort IDs. Though they don't always do this, they've done it more times than they haven't over the past 2 years.
