Early entry days always the same?

I may only get one DL day on our late June trip to Cali. Since this will probably be my only trip to DL, I want to maximize my time. I'd like to stay at Paradise Pier, mostly for early access to DL. I want the hour in Fantasyland at 7 a.m. But I'm afraid that I'll book my one night and then Disney will swap the early entry parks, since they don't even post schedules in advance. We will probably not get hoppers because we're most interested in the classic dark rides, Indy, and Hyperspace Mtn. Can I assume that the days will stay the same?

the only thing is early entry canbe cancelled for various reasons, but they do not switch up which days are early entry into which park.

They sometimes move it to different days if there's an event that wouldn't allow it on a normal day. I'd say it probably averages about twice per year that it happens. The one thing about staying on site is that you get EE on check in and check out, so if it does happen you might still be able to do it by switching park days. Disney hasn't announced an end to the Star Wars overlay yet, but I wouldn't plan around Hyperspace mountain still running in June. It's possible but not guaranteed.

With a 5 day ticket can you go in to more than 1 magic morning. I seem to remember in the past you only got one early entry.

Thanks. Our check-in day might be the day we fly in, but maybe we'll switch that up to keep our options open just in case, although it sounds like we'll be okay. I assumed Hyperspace was permanent, or at least until the new Star Wars land, but only DH would be disappointed if it's not running. I have a teen who can't handle rides with a lot of motion, so we love dark rides, especially ones that are a little bit creepy or over-the-top silly. It's kind of a miracle that there are over fifteen rides that my DS can handle and actually enjoy at DL. And I will be enjoying the Disney nostalgia. :)

Is that just when staying off site? My Disney-hating DH considers one day at DL a huge compromise, so I will not be getting the three-day tickets and will need to stay on site for early entry.

With a 3+ day Park Hopper you only get 1 magic morning entry to DL - no idea where anyone would get the idea you could get more unless you are staying on site.

They stopped adding the second MM around 2007 or 2008. I think it was about the last time DL offered 4 days for the price of 3 promotion.

In December they had both parks open for early entry both days. I doubt that will happen in June.

I thought you only got one early entry but I couldn't see it written anywhere so I wondered if it had changed.

If anyone could help me with an answer to this, that would be much appreciated! We will be coming to DL on the Saturday of Mother's Day weekend, staying at the Tropicana, till the following Saturday. Getting a 5 day park hopper, and possibly buying one more extra day, so we can have 6 days in the parks. What choice of days for our one early morning entry would there be in early-mid May? I'm assuming I can't just choose any one day that works best for us? From the sound of it, only a few days a week offer early entry, and if so, I'm wondering which days of the week they are usually offered in May? TIA!

That is the weekend of Tinkerbell Half Marathon (It's on Mother's Day) so that may change the days- but if anything, it would change the Saturday you arrive. DL will likely have early entry on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday (the days with a T in them).

Something to consider, and I am not sure how it breaks down price wise, if you bought 2 sets of 3 day hoppers, you would have 2 early entry days. You can't add a 6th day to a 5 day hopper- so you would have to buy the 5 day plus a 1 day. You could even buy a set of 3 day hoppers and a set of 3 day single park tickets and switch between the two since you have 13 days to use them.

Hmm, yeah I knew there was a marathon that weekend but not which marathon. That's kinda cool. I wonder how that will affect our park days that weekend, and will we see the runners? Thanks for the list of days very helpful, tue or thu will be our best bet!

Yeah, I'll have to check to see the best deal on the various combos of tickets. I'm not sure that a 5 day hoppers and one single non hopper ticket isn't the cheapest. But an extra early day might be worth it. I can get a 5 day hopper for $279 at LMT. But that's a good idea to try various combos of days to see what could work best to get us the best deal of cost and park time. Sort of worry that we'll be wanting to park hop on days we couldn't w/o hoppers, and this will be a first visit so will have to see how we could arrange days to stay in one park for a whole day. Not sure yet how to plan our days. Thanks for the helpful ideas, AZMermaid!

another consideration Minne kins, is that Wednesday mornings are very light, more so than MM, I have always accomplished more on Wednesday mornings than my MM, due to the whole park being open. Sometimes MM is not all that great of a privilege, but what it does offer, is that you are in the park and set to go when the rest of the lands open.

Thanks for that heads up, chickapin parterre! That's helpful info. I can't get Disney ticket page to open but I'm assuming that a one day non hopper is about $100. So, with the 5 day hopper from Last Minute Travel, at about $280, add another $100, and our 6 days with five of them hoppers, will be about $380, and will give us one MM. And with Wednesday's being good early mornings for the parks, that should work out well. We aren't gonna wanna get up early more than two days probably anyway as we like to stay late in the parks instead. Not sure how late they are open at that time of year though. We're WDW vets but first timers to DL so don't know much yet about timing of park days, which days are usually lightest, which day might be better in which park, and such.

There is a lot to do in the SoCal area. I'd put my $100 towards another Day 6 activity to take a break from Disneyland. Spend a day swimming and eating a good meal, go to another park (Knotts is half the price) go see a show, etc.
