Early entry and convention ticket?

From what I can find, it looks like passes of longer than 3 days come with 1 early entry. We will be going to Anaheim for a convention and have received an offer to buy discounted DL convention theme park tickets. We are getting 5 day park hopper passes. Is anyone familiar with these tickets and know if they come with the early entry privileges?

In general, the discounted convention tickets do not come with early entry or MM privileges.

But if you are staying at a Disney hotel you do get early entry and/or MM correct?

The 5 day convention ticket I got was $154 which I thought was a great deal.

We are just wondering because we are trying to plan our days. We will be spending 1 EE day before the conference in a non-Disney hotel--we were trying to find out if we could get in with this ticket. Otherwise, the rest of the time we will be at the GC so it won't be an issue. We thought the convention tickets were a great price.

I found the answer on the magic morning super thread:

If you are staying at a Disney property you get early entry every time it is offered, which is Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday.

If you are staying at the GCH, for any of the MM days (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday), then even your convention ticket (but along with your charge slip, which they will give you at check in) will get you into the park early.
