Early December Vets! Please help with clothes for the parks

We go Nov 29-Dec 7. I'm making t-shirts for us to wear, so should I buy long or short sleeve? I know we can layer, but that's more clothes to pack. Would the long sleeve be too hot during the day?

You will most likely have afternoon temperatures in the mid-upper 70s and mornings in the 50s.

But....Orlando is unpredictable in the Winter months. It is possible you could have some days stuck in the 50s with mornings near 40.

You definitely need to bring a little of everything!

We always layer. Short sleeve T- sweater or sweatshirt over that and then a windbreaker in case it gets cold or windy. So I'd put the design either on the short sleeved T or the sweatshirt. I do think the long sleeve T would get too hot if it was 80 degrees and sunny.

Oh the weather -- you never know what you are going to get.

Last December (3--11) 2004 was sooo nice. Both Saturdays were only the 60's and cool (needed the pants, jackets, etc). During the week, nice weather near 80 if not more. Shorts, tees. But the nights can cool down.

December (7--14) 2002 was another story! Cold, cold, cold and rainy, rainy, rainy. They had more rain the week I was there than they get for the whole season!! Yes, I still went to the parks but it's not as enjoyable as walking around in perfect weather.

This year I'm hoping for some nice weather. But it doesn't matter, I will be away from the snow and cold of New England!

We wear more long sleeves and just push them up if needed. When in the sun I'm warm, but if I'm standing in the shade, I get really cold. We usually wear shorts unless it's going to be too cold. We're pretty cold in the early morning when we head out to the parks but it warms up quickly.

This will be our 4 trip during the same time frame in the past 5 years. Only 2 days did we have to wear our heavy coats, mittens and hats. We wear sweatshirts or light jackets. It has only rained twice for a short period of time.

The down side of this type of weather is that you have to bring a little bit of everything! The sweats take up so much room. I do pack a collapsable suitcase for souveniers.
