Early December Flights - Calgary to Orlando

Hey all!

Well the DW almost has me convinced that we need another trip "home" in early december 2007. I'm pretty well convinced too but the only problem I'm seeing is the price of flights...they're not cheap out of Calgary!!! For our upcoming May trip we're paying $600 CAD round trip per person. I'd like to see that number somewhere around $400 CAD...and that's the reason for writing this post!

Does anyone know (or remember) what kind of seat sales or discounts came out this year? I tried checking WestJet but I couldn't pull up a price history.

BTW...we need to find a WestJet DIS member that can keep us updated about flights to Orlando! I have a friend that works there but I don't think he can keep me updated....I'll check though!

Anywho...let me know if you've heard anything or know of airlines that had seat sales from Calgary to Orlando.

If we go again we'll probably (hopefully) rent DVC points, do the DVC DDP, and have annual passes! It's too bad that you can't do the DDP on annual passes...well...there are ways but it's a bit sketchy...rambling...sorry...I'm done!

I saw seat sales up to December 16th in the fall. After December 16 seat sales posted after November 1st. We got a seat sale in October for February and grabbed it.

drag n' fly: would you advise waiting for a little while before buying? I'd be willing to do it if I knew a decent price was coming but that could be a little nerve racking eh?

OH I would definitely wait. It depends how many seats you need. The reason we bought so early is we needed five seats and we got all five including taxes return for 2200.00 CAD. I did not want to wait because it is hard finding five seats on a sale!
