Early Days and Crowds

Do you still get the "massive" crowds if you were to go to a park after 5:00 pm?

Nothing is guaranteed.

I've gone after 5 p.m. & some parks have been very crowded. On other days crowds are minimal. Depends on what time of year you go, what day, what park & how the weather is.

It also depends on the closing time. AK is the one that I have found to be the least crowded in the later afternoon.

Our first day at WDW, on 3/11, we arrived at Epcot at 5:00. Just enough time to eat dinner, do a few rides and see Illuminations. It was so empty! More people were leaving the park than were arriving. We really got spoiled, we foolishly assumed attendance would be down all week.
