Early checkout??

Do the resorts offer early checkout the evening before? I just found out our return flight is leaving at 8 am, 2 hours earlier than originally scheduled.

If you have a CC on the room you can get early check--out. I think the bills are under your door early that day---I would just mention to front desk that you have an early flight and your requests.

I believe that there is normally someone at the Front desks almost all the time

We didn't actually have to check out at the front desk, our last morning we had a copy of our bill waiting for us under our door. As long as you have a credit card on file you shouldn't have to worry about checking out. Besides, if you're using ME they'll know the time of your flight so they'll know you're leaving early.

I don't know how early you're planning on checking out, but I would check with the front desk the night before.

We always drive to Disney, but we leave around 4am when checking out. We do this to beat the morning traffic and to arrive home midafternoon. This past June, we had to leave a day early, so we were due a refund at check out. I went to the front desk the night before and they had everything ready (including our refund) at 4am.

I was told at the front desk, that we could have express checkout, but there was no guarantee as to how early the paperwork would arrive at the room. Since we were due a refund, I wanted to make sure everything was ok before we left the property.

Since we always check out VERY early, I thought my info might be helpful.

We always leave a credit card on file for our room charging and for this very reason - avoiding checkout. When you leave a c.c., a bill will be slipped under your door or hung on the handle. As long as everything is okay, you simply leave and your card will be charged.

We always left very early so never got the bill on the door. We stopped the night before and got a copy of the bill and went over it then so we could catch any mistakes. Didn't have to worry in the morning if the bill was there.

Thank you for your replies. We will be leaving by 5:30 am so I guess I'll settle the night before.

I remember a few years ago we had to check out of the AKL at 4am for an early flight. I think we did everything the night before, but I had to stop by the desk on the way out and could not believe that there was someone already talking to the one CM at the front desk. Bell service came to our room also that morning, so yes everything is up and running even that early in the morning. People check-in and out at all hours at Disney as people are coming and going from many different places.
