If we arrive before 3 pm and get preregistered, how does that work. Do they take luggage to room when it is ready and can we get our tickets early?

Thanks

You can check in early and you will get room keys and you can get your tickets. They will store your luggage until you call and them them to deliver it. They will give you a card if the room isn't ready. You call the number and they will tell you if the room is ready and your room number. When you go back to the resort you just go right to your room. No need to revisit the front desk. Just call bell services and your luggage will be delivered.

So good to know this information..... We might be arriving to the resort really early if we take a Red Eye (like 9am or 10am) so our chances of a room being ready is probably pretty slim but that would be nice!

Depending on what resort you are staying at, the wait for the luggage could be up to an hour after you call. We have found it just as easy to retrieve our luggage ourselves on our way back to the room. It is really nice to know in advance by calling the number if your room is ready. Ours was ready before noon once. We called the number every hour or two. After our red-eye, we were anxious to shower and relax and un-pack! If you are staying at a Deluxe resort, the luggage may be no wait at all, as we have only stayed at moderates so far! Enjoy! :flower:

We have been very lucky. We have stayed at the moderates and once at CR and have always arrived between 8-11 am, and our room has been ready everytime but once (at CBR) but that one was still ready before noon.

I always arrive early because I want to get started ASAP when I get there. If the room is ready that that's great but most of the time it's not. They will check you in and you will get your keys and they will hold your luggage or even have them put in the room when it is ready but you can go off and do whatever you'd like.

All but 1 time in the past 20 trips has our room not been ready and that was in April with connecting rooms. The way we used to go was this-
I work til 4 am on Saturday night, come home wake kids, (car was loaded up before I went to work the night before) kids get dressed as I shower, grab pillows and last minute items. We are on the road by 5-5:30. After getting off FL turnpike we fill up with gas. Arrive at our hotel about 9 and check-in. As I said we have always been lucky about our room being ready. So we unpack and sometimes either I take a nap then (best thing is when I wake I am in Disney World) or we head to a park for a few hours.

Depending where you are staying and when has alot to do if the room will be ready or not. Plus how many requests you have also is a deciding factor.

I too have been lucky to get my room early upon arrival. I'm from Miami so I usually leave about 7am and arrive at 11am. By the time we check in it's almost 12noon. I have 2 kids so I request anything close to the pools and dining and I usually get it. I think most of the people that arrive check in after the 3pm call. Can't wait for my trip in April. My sons were both born in April so this will be their gift.
