Early Checkin on Jan 1 at All Star Movies?

We have ADR at Chef Mickey's at 7:30 1/1/08. We will also have to pre-register that am since we will need tickets and our dining plan to kick in as well. We are thinking about arriving between 6:30-6:45 to pre check in. Is that early enough? Just wondering how busy the FRONT DESK WILL BE THEN.

We plan to try to get a taxi to CR because only Character breakfast buses will be running since MK doesn't open till 9:00 their buses won't start until 8:00 am. Can't drive because 2 hour parking limit at resort for dining. We plan to head to MK until after 3:00 parade. Then hear to All Star Movies to get settled in.

aNYBODY HAVE SUGGESTIONS???

I think you'd have a hard time checking in at 6:30 - 6:45am at ASMovies and then making it to a 7:30am ADR at Chef Mickey's!!! That would be way too much rushing to start a vacation...atleast for me.

I'd try checking in more like 5:30 - 5:45am. I believe the check-in desks are staffed 24 hours, so someone should be there.

If you take a cab from the resort to Chef Mickey's you would probably be okay. Just remember, lots of people don't check out on time on New Years Day, so you could be waiting a long time for your room.

We won't be back until about 3:30 or 4:00 maybe by then some rooms will be available. If not we can chill for a little while until we have to head back for a ADR at Tony's at 6:30. I just want to get settled in sometime that day.

You really have until 7:40 to check in at Chef Mickey's. I'd be surprised if there was much of a line at All Stars at 6:30 AM on New Year's Day. Guests who are already there would more than likely still be sleeping. I think getting there at 6:30 and taking a cab will be fine. You will have door to door service so once you are at the Contemporary, just go up to the fourth floor and you'll be fine.
