Does anyone know how early one can check out from the GC? Planning to leave at 1am if possible:confused3

So its the same procedure as any other hotel then? Just up and leave when you're ready?

Yes, you can just up and leave, but there will be people at the front desk at that time (we've checked IN that late! LOL) so you can just drop your keys off and say you're leaving. :)

Sweet! Thanks!

That must have been a long day!

Though actually, since the keys now have your names on them, they don't expect you to leave them.

Thinking more about it...they slip that final statement under your door early in the AM. So you might stop by the front desk, look over the info (since you might not have it under your door at that hour), make sure it's all correct, and then leave.

The thing about checking out at 1:00 A.M..

If the Front Desk is running their Night Audit, they won't be able to pull up your folio so you could review your charges. As such, you may want to set a time earlier in the day to review it, and then proceed to stop charging things to your room after that.

Same goes if you want to reconcile your folio with something other than the Credit Card you have on file. Do that earlier in the day too.

(I knew my Front Desk Management class would be good for something, lol)

LOL Ya, it was pretty long. We were pretty tired when we got in and crashed hard. :) We live about 6 hrs away, we had a party of 4 adults going and we all had to work the day we left so we didn't head out until around 7 pm. But it was worth it, we had the next 4 days in the parks and one of us was going for the first time. :)

So would reviewing everything the night before be a good time?

I would think this would work out great. :)

Why not just check out the day before, so after your last full night there check out ~ store your stuff for the day *in your car if your driving* and have fun, if you wait to leave till 1am you'll need to find someplace to hang out ~ the lobby maybe or you could just leave earlier..... This way your not paying all that $$$ to stay till just 1am

I do exactly the same thing. I like to check the statement before leaving. I like to resolve and issues while I am there.

I think thats what I'm going to do given our situation. Although, who knows, we might stay for a few more hours and enjoy the park some more. :confused3

What are you going to do??

I'm not sure yet, it depends on how things go.

Our 2 previous Spring break trips to LA we left at 1am both times and it worked out perfect. But who knows, we might not want to leave and end up leaving a bit later in the day.
