Early Check In

I am flying on a Red Eye flight arriving at 6:14 in the morning. I am actually working the day before and then have a 4 hour drive to airport so only sleep I will probably get is on flight. How early do you think I will be able to get into my SS studio.

Definitely check when you arrive. We've gotten our room as early as 7:00am once when we checked in one morning before heading to rope drop. My most recent trip I got my room ready text at 9:30am. Plan for 4pm, but definitely check with the front desk, and don't put in any room requests.

My trip in February I selected first available room and made NO requeśt. I got my room at 2:00pm so was thrilled because it's the earliest I've gotten in years.

Wait list it and check the website periodically. Otherwise plan for the possibility, if not likelihood, that there will be at least some delay.

If you go straight to SSR, at the front desk, if there is a cash room or points based room that was not in use the night before, you may get that room. I check-in to my resorts between 8 - 9:30 and my room is ready 3 out of 5 times during that time frame, that is based on over 140+ vacations. As PP says do not do online check-in.

Our last stay we did online check-in, we put down that we would be arriving at noon. We arrived at noon. We got our room at 4:10 (after going to the front desk to double check to see if our room was ready). We got notified at 6:30PM by text that our room was ready. Luggage was in our room by 4:30. So as you can see I would count on 4:00PM but anything can happen!

We have arrived early dozens of times and only once have we been in our room before 2pm. During the holidays it is always late.

We normally arrive after 4:00, so our room is usually (not always) ready. Once we were able to access our GV unit in early afternoon when we took a morning flight and I was really surprised. I agree if you don't make any requests your chances are better, but probably still not great. We arrive at 1:00 this year on a Thursday (instead of our normal Sunday arrival). We're hoping for pixie dust, but prepared if it doesn't happen.
