I have reservations for Labor Day week at HH. I know that check-in is @ 4:00 for all resorts. I also doubt that my unit will be ready if I arrive before 4:00. What I would like to know is whether we can get access to the resort activities before 4:00 if we are lucky enough to arrive fairly early. Thanks for your help.

Beginning as early as 7 in the morning, you can check in, leave luggage, get room keys (activiated later). Later (after 4) you just call in and ask for room number and you can return directly to room.

Thanks! I hope to set out early enough to arrive around 8:00. It may just be wishful thinking, but this should be enough to convince the family to go along with the plan. Thanks again. :D

When we plan to arrive before official check-in, I pack our swim clothes and beach towels in a small bag. That way I can check all my other bags with bell service and then take the small bag to the pool area and change.

We love early check in and usually try to do it. When ever we arrive early, we are asked if we have a room preference. Never has our preference not been made available when we come back later to go to our room. This just happened in February at our home VWL. In the past when we checked in at or after 4:00 P.M. we have not been given this choice. I have no doubt that with early check in you are far more likely to get the room in the location you want. :)
