Early check in & Extra Magic hour

I read on a post that one needs a room key as identification to get in parks for Extra Magic hour. If we check in early one morning and leave our bagage at the hotel, Will they give us a key before our room is ready so we may go to the extra magic hour park of the day?

When checking in before 3 pm we have always been given a room key whether our room was ready yet or not. Often you may need to call back later & get your room #. I think this should work for you for EMH - HTH!

As soon as you check in you will be issued your Keys to the World. If your room isn't ready they will give you a number to call after 3pm to find out your room number. You can go to guest services in whatever park you are in and use the phone there if you like.

In other words yes..check in early..get your room keys and head to the parks. Bell services will keep your luggage until you call for it.
