Early check in at AKL

I want to arrive at AKL between 7-7:30AM. Drop off my luggage and "check in", although I expect my room won't be ready. Will they check me that early? I also want to pick up my park tickets which I already paid for. (Not part of a package.)

Who did you order the tickets with? Did you arrange for will call pick up at the AKL?

I made the AKL reservations with Small World Travel. They attached the tickets (7 day park hopper) to the room reservation but it is not bundled as a package.

Flights from Alaska always seem to get us in at 6:00 am we always check in as soon as we arrive and then lounge around the great pool until our room is ready, once our rooms was even ready, the other time we treated ourselves to massages on our arrival morning. We could have gone into the parks as they gave us our tickets but we opted not too because we were tired. 6:00 am in Florida is 2:00 am where I come from. Have fun. I love AKL

Interesting. I did not know you could do that. I would see no reason why you could not "check-in" and store your luggage and get your park tickets and head to the parks and enjoy. We love the AKL. I am sure you will have a great trip.

The way it was explained to me, by reserving a room only (it is called "Magic Moment Room Only") the cancellation policy is more liberal. A disavantage seems to be that I don't get the tickets until check-in. That's why I wanted to check in early... to get to a park when it opens.

We tend to check in early when we go as well. There has never been a problem although there have been a couple of times when the room isn't ready yet.
