Not sure if this is a "strategy" post or a "restaurant" post... :confused3

We had 8:10am Donald's Breakfastosaurus when the park opening was 9am (not an EMH morning). We waited a few minutes after breakfast at the rope nearest the Primeval Whirl. We were allowed entry a few minutes before 9am so that we were 1st at the Expedition Everest FP machines and also rode the 1st train on Expedition Everest via standby. :thumbsup2

This worked out well for us. If someone plans to have a character breakfast and wants to get a couple of easy rides on Expedition Everest, then they should consider Donald's Breakfastosaurus before park opening for their plans.

I'm sooo glad you posted this :thumbsup2 I've been wondering about my 8:05 Breakfastosaurus ADR. I wanted to make sure I had time to get to EE, first thing!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: Thanks for the info!!! :yay:

I have a ADR for 8am at Donalds so I will use this strategy!! I don't know where either thing is...the breakfast or EE. Can you tell me?

Cast Members will make sure you get to the restaurant (its in DINOLAND) before opening (they don't want guests wandering thru the park before it opens).

EE is located in its own "area" isolated between ASIA and DINOLAND.

Look to the far right of this map.

(It says "Future Site of EE", but of course its THERE now.)

What time does the restaurant open? Thanks!

This is a great strategy - we did the exact same thing on April 30th (although our ADR was for 8am) :Pinkbounc

We had about ten minutes of waiting in Dinoland before we were allowed to join the crowds behind the rope but had a great time talking to a CM about the tarantula she had with her :thumbsup2

We've done this same thing twice! Once for the Passholder preview, and once in late May. We were one the first train of the day each time! Great way to get the ride in early!!

Oh, THANX so much for posting that this little strategy works! We have the same plan for our Dec. trip and I was questioning whether or not it was worth it. Sounds like it is! :woohoo: :tink:

I have an ADR set for our trip in August at 8 am. My DS and DH are hoping to be one of the 1st ones on. They are looking forward to it. :)

This is our strategy, too - however - how was it eating and then riding???? I'm a little concerned about that. We have never felt sick on a rollercoaster before, but...

So - how long did your food digest before riding?

We might just get a fast pass :) (oh, we have DS10 and DS5 with us)

Hey! You stole my strategy! LOL! Just kidding - but I'm so glad to hear it WORKS! We're dining at Donald's at 8am in two weeks from tomorrow!!! And the DH and I are grabbing FP's for EE and jumping in the stand by line! I'm hoping to ride EE 3 times that day. Even after I fill up at Donald's. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- did you get queasy at all? did you take Disney transportation? We are staying at Beach Club and thought about getting a cab- our ADR is at 8:10 also. it's about 20 mintes from BC Thanks

I had made an 8:10 reservation for Breakfastosaurus. Happy to see others think the same way I do.

With our 8am ADR we were the first people seated :D

We probably finished with the food at about 8.40, and by the time you've walked behind the CMs to EE you're looking at riding at about 9.10, so that was a good half an hour to digest and we had no problems with sickness or anything like that - HTH :)

We stayed at POFQ and were at the bus stop for 7, and it came about five minutes after. We were at AK by 7.30 and allowed through the turnstiles at about 7.45, if I remember correctly - we were certainly in the restaurant dead on 8am :)

scanne, I will see you at breakfast! We also have 8:00 ADR's then. It will be me, DW35, DS7, DD4, DS2, MIL and FIL. I'll probably have my blue FDNY baseball cap and some Lime Green Mickey heads from Home Depot.

Disney Buses start running from the resorts to the parks for early ADR's and EMH's starting about 6:40am. No need for a cab.

I'm glad to hear that strategy works, I have an 8:10 ADR and had planned the same thing.

Another version of this:

Friday, May 19, 2006: this was our experience:

DAK non-EMH (9am open)
Donald's Breakfastosaurus: 8am Ressie.
Enter for breakfast at 7:55am
Breakfast finished at 8:40am
CM "held" everyone at Bone-yard area (nobody allowed to go back into DAK)
At 8:55am, we were "released" to walk on past the Tarzan Rocks/Nemo Theater (still just I-beams, under construction) to the bridge where two CM's were holding a rope.

They watched across the water until they saw the hordes of folks (being led by CM's) heading towards Asia.

They speed-walked us back to EE, but the "hordes" from the front gate beat us to the standby entrance (Asia is the shorter route to EE than Dinoland).

But, one of our CM's walked OUR group directly thru the FASTPASS entrance (she told the FP CM that we were "coming through"!)

We were on the FIRST ride, in the second car of EE that day!

COOL!

Now, I don't know if this is STANDARD PROCEDURE (so don't COUNT on it to happen) but it was a PERFECT way to start our DAK day, that morning.
