We love a big table-service breakfast! And we like to get an early start to our day.

I have reservations at the Crystal Palace before the MK opens, at Hollywood & Vine before DHS opens, and Tuskerhouse before AK opens.

Is there a restaurant in Epcot that does a table-service breakfast before Epcot opens? Does Akershus serve breakfast before Future World opens?

It wouldn't have to be a character meal. We would just like to sit down and have a big breakfast before we start touring the park.

If there is no table-service restaurant for breakfast at Epcot, where would you suggest we eat before starting our day?

Thanks!

So yes, you can get in before Epcot opens.

If you don't want a character breakfast, you can alway go to Garden Grove buffet at the Swan. They have a regular buffet on every day except Saturday (Then it's a character buffet). Cape May Cafe is another close to Epcot option. Again this is a character buffet. I think they start serving around 7:30am.

The earliest breakfast ADR you can get for Akershus is 8:30. It will be very hard to finish breakfast before rope drop. I would recommend having an early breakfast somewhere else so that you can make RD.

Well you could get a sit down breakfast at Kona (at the Poly) & then walk over to the TTC to catch the Epcot monorail to make rope drop. I suppose you could do breakie at any of the monorail resorts, but then you'd have to transfer to the Epcot monorail at TTC from the MK resort loop. :)

This sounds like a great idea to avoid the rope drop. The rope drop mob scene is no fun for us... with an OCD person in the group.

The idea of getting in early and taking a leisurely walk to a nice breakfast sounds like fun.

But I wonder this.. let's say we finish our breakfast in Norway before the world showcase opens. Are they going to shoo us back to Future World? Or can we hang out in the World Showcase until things open up? It might be nice and relaxing.

The only drawback for me is waking up early!
