Early breakfast at Boma- Question??

I am just wondering what everyone does for transportation . I read somewhere on here that there are early buses to the parks for breakfast, so if there are people going to Ak for any early breakfast, do they drop you at Boma after AK guests? What is everyones experience???? We will not have car, or it would not be a problem... thanks!

Personally, when it comes to getting from one resort to another in time for a meal, I take a taxi. It is much easier, faster and more reliable as otherwise you have to make switches and it's a real pain.

I would take a bus to Animal Kingdom and then from there a bus to the AK Lodge. Depending what the daily schedule is, AK is usually the first park to open so buses could be running as early as 7am.

Thanks for the advice. We will not be taking a taxi because of car seat issues.

We made our breakfast ADR at Boma the same morning as the morning EMH at AK. We figured it would be easier to go from POR to the AK, spend a little time there and then take the bus over to AK. Our ADR is for 9:50 AM, so hopefully this will all work out. This is our first time we haven't rented a car so the whole bus thing is new for us.

Hi, Just wanted to let you know that most of the taxi's have car seats. You can have your hotel call for you and they'll send one with car seat...just in case that was the only thing keeping you from taking a taxi.

We drive but you can always take a cab.

We also have an early morning Bk at Boma.

I would like to know the cost of the taxi also.

We took a cab from All Stars to VWL two years ago and with tip, it was about $15!

We stayed at POP and had a Boma ressie for 7:30am, which was great btw b/c we were 1 of about 4 parites there which was perfect! So what we did was luckily it was EMH at AK that day (am) so the busses were already running. But AK normally opens at 8am, so the busses would start running at 7am anyway. So, the bus took us to AK, then we told the bus driver we were going to the Boma breakfast and he said he would drive us over to it.

You can also call the front desk of your hotel and ask them about the early breakfast busses. (i never found them)
