Early Book Saving Question??

I am going to book a cruise for end of May 2005 , My question is do you really save enough money to see a differance if you book now or say wait until say like JAN or FEB

and also if you book with travel company say crusinggo. com (they have the lowest rate so far) do they also give a type of early book cruise discount??

It depends totally on the dates of your cruise and how fast the ship is filling. The early booking discounts are really based on how full the ship is rather than on the dates--the discounts go down and eventually disappear as the ship fills. On some cruises (like the repositioning cruises) the prices were literally changing hourly!

So....the cruise is very unlikely to ever be cheaper than it is now. If by some chance the price drops, DCL will refund the difference to you (or adjust your balance if your final payment has not been made yet.) However, that is rare, and not likely to happen in May. You might be lucky and the price may not increase...however, it could change significantly. There are a couple of "prime times" for booking--after new dates are released, right after Christmas (people give cruises for a gift), etc.

I booked 2x thru dcl, both with savings. I continually check the cost online and so far the savings have been good.

FYi I went to a local travel agent for a different cruise booking and he wanted to know why I booked thru dcl. anyway he stated that we don't pay them the cruiseline does and thru the agent we would have received disney gifts. Just a note if yo haven't yet checked with a local agent.

$2450, cat. 10. thru DU travel agency.

I looked on DCL's website today and same cruise, same room
is $1000 more!!
