We have an 8:15 bog reservation in September. I know we can finish eating fairly quickly as we are all adults and I plan on pre ordering. But I've read that they have been letting people with pre park adrs ride 7 dwarfs before the park opens. Is that true? If we finished bog before they opened at 9. Would we be able to ride that before it opens and then hop on over to A&E to wait in line? Not sure how this works. I've read some conflicting things. But does this seem doable or would I have to pick one? I'm aware that they could change the park opening times and ruin my plans lol. Thanks in advance for the tips

Mostly I'm commenting to bump your post, cuz I'm not sure of the answer.

I've heard that they make you hang out at BOG until the crowd from RD is heading to 7DMT, then you hop in line in front of them and head over to the ride. However, this is just what I've read a bunch of people saying, I don't know from personal experience. I do know that 30 minutes before park closing, that me and my daughter managed to ride 7DMT 3 times last month. So maybe, if you do end up having to pick.... you could go meet A&E and save 7DMT till right before close?

I wouldn't count on a guarantee to ride 7 dwarfs before park opening. It seems like the luck of the draw. You might get lucky and be able to ride it. Or they might make you wait in line until park opens.

You could theoretically get lucky and ride it before park opening and then get to Anna and Elsa. But they could also let people in the park early instead of waiting until 9. So you might have people entering the park at 8:30-8:45, or they might hold until 9.

If I were you I'd pick which would be more important to do and head there.

And if you plan to be in the park late at night, like mentioned, you could do either 7dwarfs or A&E.

When I go the line for 7 dwarfs is always pretty long regardless of the time. It'll be shorter at say 11pm than from noon, but I have yet to see it be less than 20 min.

On the contrary, everyone rushes to A&E in the morning and then some wait a ridiculous amount of time. But if you can keep the kids up until nighttime, you can do A&E with a short wait. We go about once a month and I never fail to see the A&E line have a 20 min or so wait. It'll be 200 min during the day, and a lot of times less than 30 at night (around 11pm)

BOG Guests are allowed to ride SDMT before the Main Gate running of the bulls arrives.:)

When we went in April we were allowed to ride around 8:50 just ahead of the Main Gate line,BUT recently they have been giving BOG Guests MULTIPLE rides beginning around 8:35.:)

If you finish in time, I believe you can head over to 7DMT before the riff raff walks in ;) I don't think you'll have much trouble with getting that done. Pre-ordering saves a ton of time, that's a great idea you suggested!

As far as Anna and Elsa, it honestly is it's most crowded when the park first opens. Massive hoards rush to it first thing, it's very slow, and it piles up within minutes. When I was just there, the line was like 2 and a half hours at 9:35! I wouldn't go unless you knew you were gonna be like one of the first in.

Fingers crossed that they keep doing this! Last year our trip ended just a couple of days before it opened, I can't wait to ride this.

I would go with Plan A and Plan B as there are no guarantees on any given day. Also remember that the ride must pass a huge number of points on a checklist and it doesn't take much to delay an opening. We once were one of the first ones there during EMH and it didn't start rolling until after the park opened to offsite.

We also rode 7DMT multiple times after an early BOG breakfast on June 7th. When BOG was first testing breakfast, they were holding guests, but they've stopped doing that and let you wander freely (in Fantasyland at least) as soon as you're done. At least the CMs we encountered were encouraging rides (and re-rides).

I do agree with this. 7DMT wasn't running when we went into breakfast and we saw several trains just sitting on the tracks, so we weren't sure if it would even be running by the time we were done eating. As a result, we poked around in the restaurant a bit, but we were happy to see the ride running when we came out of the restaurant around 8:40.

We had a BOG 8:10 adr this morning. It worked great but there was no way we could've done both and beat the crowds to the 2nd one.

They let us in around 7:45. We're quick eaters, but took our time getting to the restaurant stopping several times for photos.

We were done eating by 8:40 and joined a group at the rope. They held us until the rope droppers were in sight, then let us go. We were allowed thru the FP line and were the first group to ride, but by the time we were done there was a long line outside A&E. There were no re-rides and actually the rope drop crowd had filled the standby line by the time we got thru the FP line.

I'm afraid you'll have to pick one or the other.

Big change from when we were there less than two weeks ago. Bummer.

This was just our experience and may well not be what happens every day. We were hoping to get in, eat and get out in time to ride once without waiting and that's what we got. So we were happy with it.

Some people recently posted that their plan got "ruined" when Disney changed park opening from 9 to 8. Something to keep in mind.

That happened to us and we managed to switch adrs to another day- but it can and does happen quite often I think.

on 6/14 we left BOG around 8:4ish and rode SDMT twice in a row. We noticed the rope drop crowds coming as we were in line for the 2nd time. I don't know what our chances would have been if we had headed to Anna and Elsa after riding only once. Maybe ask this question again to the boards immediately before your visit. Seems safer to pick one or the other.

This was not our experience yesterday, 6/19. After we finished our breakfast, we were forced to wait outside of Bog near the entrance of 7dmt unail the cms saw the rope droppers coming up towards a&e, then they allowed us to go through the fp+ line while the rope droppers had to line up in the regular line. W e were all able to ride first before the rope droppers, but not multiple times as others have suggested.

How long will it take Disney to really factor in the "opportunity" to get a heads start on SDMT and factor that into the price of the breakfast, raising it more and more. I'll take Boma for the same price.
