EARLY AUGUST POP'ers

Okay, this is for the early August POP'ers. (not those who are able to schedule their vacation around the free DDP that I couldnt get!! )

ARE YOU GETTING EXCITED??????? We will be there Aug. 10-17...
Is any one fired up ?????? Let's get this vacation started!!!

Are you packing yet?? DOCs all in order?? Checking your ADR????
Checking flight times?? Reserve a spot at the kennel???? Give someone a copy of your itinerary???? phone numbers!!!!

I can't wait!!! I'm checking into POP THIS FRIDAY! Yeah! (Saturday will be the first day at the parks though.)

My luggage leaves Tuesday morning though. Guess I have to pack tomorrow. In FIVE days I will be on Disney property!!!

Awww, we will just miss you! We're checking in on the 17th. I've already started packing too. These last few days are going to be the death of me!

We check into Pop next Monday!!!! Packing is mostly done, kennel booked, itinerary printed, mail and newspapers stopped..........it is getting sooooo close!!!

We'll be in Pop on the 13th (arriving at 9am!!!!). Can you tell, we can't wait to get to the parks, we'll get up in the middle of the night to fly to disney. I am getting so excited.

we will be at POP 8/10-8/17!!!!!!!!!! cant wait.......9 days and 15 hours to go until we are on a plane to WDW!!!!!!!!!!! all of our planning is done, rental car, ADR's, park choices...everything.

We will be there the exact same dates as you...We have 2 rooms in the 80's section......(they better be connecting or they have to deal with the wife)We are all set, ADR, parks picked, I still have to type the final itinerary....(DW says it's the only time I am organized is our Disney trips).

I'll have it all: Parking info., Airport info. , flight #'s, rental car info., conf. # at hotels, What parks what days, ADR conf. #, mail is stopped, paper is stopped, dog goes to Grandma's house (thank god it saves us $125). We are set to go!!!! WOOO HOOOO

POP August 5-12--Really started the packing tonight. Figuring out who gets which suitcase, getting my $1's in envelopes marked "Mousekeeping" for tips, copied flight/hotel info for my dad in case of emergency, have my folder with all confirmation numbers, gathering little stuff that needs to get packed
Bank tomorrow, along with $ store for last minute stuff.
I have the parks picked for the first five days (first day is really just evening--Fantasmic), leaving the last two days for us to decide upon once we've done each park. I'm getting psyched!!!

POP 8/5-8/14 - We haven't started packing or last minute shopping yet...Yikes! We do have the kennels booked though! We've requested 2 rooms at POP (don't know what section we're in yet) and are also hoping for connecting rooms. Does anybody know if this can be requested before hand or do you have to wait until you check in? See you all at the POP!

We are also at Pop, August 10th - 19th. I have also requested connecting rooms, with one being a king bed (this is noted on my confirmation), we have a preferred view so I didn't make any special requests as to which building I wanted.

I hate to admit it, but I have had the family packed since the 4th of July. DH, and DS both got brand new wardrobes, and DS got new luggage. I have two boxes filled with snacks, decorations for the room and every conceivable toiletry that I thought we might need, ready to ship to Pop on Monday. I have an itinerary for each person on the trip, pages are in sheet protectors nicely put in a view binder with front and back pictures.

ADR's are all made, family shirts are almost done, aqua seas dive booked, sharing a Wishes cruise with other dis members, special birthday dinner for DS at Coral Reef planned, with custom menu and diver set. Special dinner for DS and DGF, with a nice surprise for her. Almost forgot, P&P for DH & I on the 18th.

Can you tell I am excited and all ready to go?

Morning Everyone!
Looks like it will be exremely crowded at least on the 10th - 12th. I have a very good friend that lives in Orlando and she tried to get a reservation for those nights, and was told that other than some rooms at the Deluxe Resorts, that everything is full. I expected it to be crowded, with free dining but didn't expect that. It's all good though, she is going to bring an air mattress from home and sleep in our room for those nights. No sense in letting her drive back and forth!
