I don't remember what happened last year. Again I expect we'll get to BW before 9 am, leave our stuff for storage as the room won't be ready, and hit a park. Will they take our luggage to the room as soon as it's ready or will they wait until we get there and call for it?

Thanks,
Bill From PA

Wait until you call for it. They'll drop ME luggage off in the room for you, but luggage you leave you have to call for.

I've stayed at BWV many times and always had to call for it (non-DME). DME luggage will be automatically delivered.

Thanks for the info. No DME for us, we need a grocery stop so we're using Tiffany.

You have to be in your room when using bell service. We just returned last Friday and was told that we had to stay in our room to receive our luggage when we called. It arrived within 5 minutes, so no wait. I would imagine you have to do this since bell service is a tips expected service.

If not luggage delivery via DME, Bell Services does not enter rooms either to drop off on check-in day or pick up luggage to hold on check-out day unless guest is physically in the room. On our trip in July we asked at BWV about both ; we had checked in early (arrived via car not DME) and asked if we could just authorize them to take our luggage up to our villa because we wanted to head straight off to park and on our check-out day we asked in early morning if they could come up and take our luggage while we went out for an early breakfast before 11 AM check-out time - in both cases we were told no policy is a guest has to be in room.

I can't speak to what pp said about it having something to do with Bell Services being a tipped position.
