Early AM Magic Express?'s

We will be going from MCO to the Beach Club really early (like about 6:45AM)on a Sunday morning...anyone have any experience with DME that early? I do not want to have to wait an hour or 2 for a bus to fill before we leave.... we are trying to get to the BC do early check in to get park passes and DDP and then get to MK close to 9AM opening.

Any chance we will make it??

It's specifically DME's policy NOT to wait to fill up a bus. That's the old Mears system, not DME's system.

The procedure is that the bus waits no longer than 15 minutes from the first guest boarding. The last time I took a DME bus from MCO there were about a dozen people on that whole big bus, my family being 4 of those 12.

The average reported time from deplaning to resort drop-off is 70 minutes. Let's say it takes you 90 minutes. That puts you at BC at 8:15 a.m. Checking could take 15 minutes, then waiting for a bus and getting to MK ... 9:00 a.m. I wouldn't bet on, but I'd wager that you'll make it there by 9:15 a.m.

of course that's assuming (1) your plane lands and hits the gate on time; (2) you've accounted for the travel time between the gate and the DME check-in desk; (3) you don't encounter too many others checking-in before you.

i don't think before 9 is a realistic possibility with all that considered. especially if it hadn't been considered.

especially if you're taking disney transport. the bus ride must be about 25 minutes or so? and you could be waiting up to 20 minutes for a bus.

I have had times of about 70 mins from deplaning to resort checkin..one time it was under an hour, another time it was close to 90 mins (last stop of three that time!!). At BC you will be possibly the 2nd or 3rd stop, depending on whether or not they stop at CBR before YC, then BC, then on to BW....at least that has been my experience. Will you make it to MK before the park opens at 9:00?? Possibly. You may get lucky and have no waits at all. But, it will be pretty close. Here's my way of thinking..
flight arrives, on time, at 6:45. Get to DME counter by 7:10, get checked in, and into bus line by 7:20. Bus comes, you get on at 7:35, bus leaves at 7:45, you're at BC around 8:25, you get checked in by 8:35, leave carryon bags with bell services and head to MK bus at 8:45, bus gets you to MK at 9:10...these times are on the 'late' side, so you may be able to do better. But I don't think you'll get to MK much before 8:45 even if you hit everything just right.

Bumping this up...anyone used DME before 7AM or so?? We have used them several times at regular hours, but was looking for anyone with early AM experiences...please???
