Early advice for a Halloween 2016 trip

Hello All,
Since we're all in the Halloween spirit I thought I'd ask for your input on next year's trip. So, we've been to Halloween party twice now (in mid Oct 2012 & late Sept 2014) and my question is this: what can we expect during the week of 10/30-11/4 in 2016? Basically, will holiday layover things like the Haunted Mansion & Space Mtn close directly following Halloween. Or, since Halloween is on a Monday in 2016 will we squeak by with the season extending a few days, or does that not matter? We basically have to go that week 1) my husband's bday is 10/31 and this is a special trip, 2) my daughter would miss the least amount of school by going that week 3) I'm curious because we've invited a number of family/friends who've never been and I don't want them to miss out. It is doubtful that the season will extend past Monday, 10/31. The Holiday season will probably begin within 11 to 14 days after that, and the decoration process for the holiday season is very extensive. Everything Halloween-ish has to come down almost immediately after 10/31 so that Disneyland can begin looking somewhat Christmasy for the annual ABC parade taping (which would probably take place on the weekend of 11/4-11/6).

Haunted Mansion Holiday is part of the Holiday season as well as part of Halloween Time, so it goes up in September and stays up until early January.

Thank you Sherry, that's what I was a little worried about but hoping we could squeak by. I followed the Halloween Superthread quite closely last year and it gave us great info for our trip so I definitely plan to do the same next year! The trip is flexible but that particular week is perfect for us so I hope I can make it work. Luckily, I have plenty of time!
