How empty is main street in the morning? I have always wanted to book an early morning breakfast just so we can walk down main street while it is empty. We have the chance to do that this trip but I am hearing that with BOG main street isn't that empty anymore. Is it even worth it now?

These days? Main Street isn't all that empty. BOG seats a LOT of people, and they're all coming in. It was far emptier before, since CRT has far more limited seating.

If the value you see in PPO breakfast is "empty Main Street," it may not be "worth it." If getting into the park, eating a nice breakfast, and being amongst the first into Fantasyland has value for you, it may be "worth" it.

Thanks! That is exactly what I was wondering.

Our first trip was last year during the week leading up to Easter (read: crowd levels of 9-10 every day), and BOG was already open for breakfast and drawing more PPO crowds at that time. We had a PPO breakfast booked at CP and entered the park around 8am - while not empty, it made a huge difference in pictures we had taken on Main Street compared to later in the day. I'd say that if you're going during a high-crowd time of year and you want relatively "empty" pictures, it is still worth it.

If getting into the park, eating a nice breakfast, and being amongst the first into Fantasyland has value for you, it may be "worth" it.

I agree with this too, though - for our upcoming trip, I have an 8:05 BOG breakfast booked on our second MK day so that we can get into Fantasyland as early as possible.

It's definitely not 100% empty (it seems like you need to stay up for those 2:00 AM EMH for that experience), but it will certainty make a huge difference. Plus a little patience and creative angling with your camera and you can get a nearly-empty picture most of the time! We were there in December (the week of Christmas, read busiest time of year!) and we were still able to get pictures with the castle that were just us.
