Just scored an early ADR, almost an hour prior to MK rope drop. Do I risk catching a bus, or would driving be my best bet? Or is it so early the bus isn't even awake yet?
If your ADR is at the park, the bus will get you there fine. The resort-to-park buses begin running around 6:30am. They run less often early in the morning, though, so get to the stop with plenty of time to spare.
If it's at a resort, driving is generally easier. (I've gotten to early breakfast ADRs at resorts using the bus system, but it does require some running around.)
What about to 'Ohana?
1. Could you take an MK bus and hop the monorail?
2. Is it running that early?
1. Yes.
2. Yes. The Resort Monorail starts running very early.
However, when you board the MK bus at your resort, tell the driver that you are headed to 'Ohana for breakfast.
Early in the morning, there's a good chance that the driver will take you directly to the Poly before or after the MK stop.
(Same situation for breakfast at the other MK-area resorts.)
Word of warning........the Monorail schedule is very much in flux right now. Its not running what most would call a normal schedule early in the morning and late at night...........on particular days of the week. Be sure to verify the schedule for the day you'd plan on using it.2. Yes. The Resort Monorail starts running very early.

This has been going on with the Monorail for a bit now...........sure hope it ends soon.
Robo........is this not the case?

Thanks for the help. I was successful getting from Pop to MK yesterday so early that the security lines weren't even open yet lol. I was at the stop just about 6:45, and on the bus before 7. The bag check didn't open until 7:20, if anyone ever needs to know that. My MBA was scanned and checked against the ADR list, turnstiles opened at 730, and we were allowed to enter Main St at 7:45. I don't normally bother with the photographers, but the empty castle courtyard was too tempting not to.
When is the Monorail expected to be running normally? It says on Disney Refurbs Jan 13 2016 to April 2016. Will it be operating normally by May?
Seems time will tell like most things in May for DisneyWith the monorail trains being as old as they are (dating back to 1989,) it's unpredictable.

I have an 8:15am ADR at Epcot one day and an 8:05am ADR at MK the next, both pre-park open and coming from AOA. Based on what others have said her, I plan to be at the resort bust stop at least 1 hr before. If I start to get nervous at a lack of buses (I doubt it) I will take a cab.Can someone give me feedback? We're staying at AoA and have a 8:05 ADR at H&V. Normally I would drive, but others in my family also have and ADR at 1900 PF and it makes more sense for them to take the car.
So ... am I better off with a taxi or a bus? And if I take a taxi, will they be able to get into the park early?
