They still, as of right now, do not have December announced on their website. When I call, they just keep telling me to check back daily, it will be soon. They have been saying that for a month! How are we supposed to plan if we don't know which park will be open early for onsite guests? Anyone heard anything?

What kind of planning do you need to do? Think of Universal more like your local amusement park rather than a Disney plan. Have thoughts on what you’d do depending on which side opens first and that will do the trick.
I know this crazy, but I write out an itinerary - even for Universal. But I usually know which park we'll be in every morning and plan accordingly. We can deviate from it if we want, but it lays out all the possibilities so no one misses anything that might have been important to them. Especially with the Wizarding World being decorated for xmas, I can see that being busier than usual. Having said that, I already know what we'd do regardless of which side is open any particular day, I'm just surprised Universal hasn't released December yet.
