Early 2021 itineraries announced

I took a look out of curiousity. I never paid attention to any Galvenston sailings before as if we travel to the states we prefer to go to Florida. What I did notice is those sailings dont go to CC. So do only people within driving distance book these? I would think anyone who needs to fly would prefer the Port Canaveral/Miami destinations as these include CC. ??
The 7-night cruises from Galveston do go to Castaway Cay. The shorter ones don't, and I imagine those are most popular with cruisers who live in the western half of the U.S., which makes Galveston a quicker & cheaper flight/drive than Orlando.

We'll sail a 5-night out of Galveston next year and it only stops at Cozumel. Because Galveston is only a 4 hour drive away from our home, that's worth the trade-off for us for a shorter cruise when our vacation time is limited (I can't fly due to medical reasons). For our 7-night cruise this winter when we have more vacation time, we're going to make the long drive to Port Canaveral to cruise on the Fantasy and sail the Eastern itinerary. Plus a few nights at WDW.

I for one am disappointed; I was hoping the WBPC would coincide with spring break as it does (partially) in 2020 but the 2021 dates are well before spring break. And I'm not keen on the 3-4 night cruises on the west coast (Catalina Island, Ensanada) during spring break. Blah.

I'd say I was disappointed in the fact that they barely stop anywhere and just sail past Costa Rica (unlike other cruise lines) and other interesting ports, but I'm getting used to checking out the WBPC every year and passing on it. Blah... I'm sorry the timing doesn't work out for you. :(

I understand why Disney goes to Nassau, but dont know why they've chosen Progresso...
Saw the Progresso in the itineraries and so this info caught my attention. Read it to my wife and she said “I bet the port fees are cheaper for Disney.”

I was hoping for a Southern Caribbean from San Juan in January. Nothing that they released looks interesting at all.

Not sure if we do DCL in the future.. We are doing the Hawaii sailing and after that I want to do more pacific coast sailings and DCL doesnt really offer these. Dream for me would be year round simple Vancouver down to LA sailings with stops in between and an land add.on with DL.
I am not a beach person, so I couldn't care less about castaway cay being included or excluded. I do like cruising with Disney :)
On my last cruise I spent hours on my own in the rainforest room on CC day.

Sounds like a win win for you there! Bet that was really nice it being empty.
