Early 2012 Planners - anyone else?!

not sure if I've joined in yet but count me in and PLEASE direct me to your ptr :) can't wait to read about everyone's exciting adventure. I will be writing my ptr soon!! :cutie:
We will be going July 29th- August 5th with the entire family! We are hoping in say in the new Art of Animation resort, anyone else? If not ASMo is okay with us. :) Hopefully I can get the $ to book soon!
For those of you who have gone before (I am a first timer) If I book August 1st, will I still be able to get a room for my dates? I will need two rooms :)
DD first birthday is taking up all of my $ right now and I won't be able to book Disney until August 1st, maybe sooner but not planning on it. Hoping to hear everyone's plans soon. We are almost there! okay.. not quite but we are still allowed to be excited.;):cool1::thumbsup2:rotfl::dance3::yay::woohoo::love::banana:

I was originally thinking of AoA (even though I didn't really want to stay in a value again, AoA was new so that was ok lol) but when I checked, only the suites were available for booking and since it's only 2 of us, we don't need that. Or the hefty price tag that goes along with it. As far as I know, the regular rooms won't be available until the end of 2012.

I'm booked for 9/30-10/7 at POR in the new Royal Rooms! :)

Yes when I called WDW yesterday the CM said that regular rooms were not available until "further notice". I can't remember the price but it was wayyyy out of our price range. Oh well, ASMu is okay with me. :thumbsup2

We are booked at AKV-J for Jan 1-8th!!! Can anyone tell me how the crowds will be? We've been during Christmas and that was busy...anything less would be great!

You could always stay at Pop and walk over the bridge to check out AoA. Just a suggestion!

Is it too early to start a PTR?

So excited....switched our BLT studio over to BCV studio for our January 2012 trip. We will be there from 1/22-1/25. We love the BCV and are very excited about going back :cool1:. Now I have to wait until 7/26 so I can make my ADRs :goodvibes

No! :rotfl: I'd totally join along!

I'm jealous yall are staying in a Royal Room.. I don't think my husband and son would like that all too much. BUT!! Even though Mallory will only be 22 months old, I can use her as an excuse right?! ;)

I don't think my boyfriend is thrilled with the princess theme but he told me to do whatever I wanted because it's my birthday trip. He's a good sport. :) And yes, Mallory is a perfect reason to get a Royal Room!

I'll probably start a PTR once I finish my Disneyland TR...that is written within my 2010 WDW TR. If you want to follow along, I'll give you the link once I get started. :)

I posted earlier on this thread I couldn't decided. Well we have, we will be at POR Royal Theme Room from June 18th- June 24th. We booked this week.:cool1:

Now I have moved on to dining choices. It is never too early!!!!!!!!!!!

We are planning our first WDW vacation for me, my husband and for my daughters 5th birthday in Dec. 2012! I am so excited. :woohoo::woohoo:

Don't the pictures of the Royal Rooms look so pretty?! Maybe I can talk my husband into letting us book one. Either that or renting points for a DVC resort!

I'd love to follow along on your PTR! :thumbsup2 Let me know when you start one!

lol I guess I'll just have to plan a vaycay to eventually stay at AoA ;) :lmao: Noooo! Never too early! Start one soon. I am very jealous of your stay in the princess rooms. I would love to hear a lot about it with TONS of pictures :)

BTW, booked yesterday for ASMo for July 29th-August 8th 2012 for 7 people!!
Just a tip, I was planning on booking online but I saw that online booking said there were no more non-perferred rooms available so I decided to just call. I was able to get non-perferred rooms. So my advice is to go ahead and call instead. :thumbsup2

I'll post the link on here when I start my PTR so you can see it. I'll probably start it sometime this month. Just so you know, I am a notrious resort hopper, but as of right now I'm sticking with POR! :rotfl: Lots of pictures, I promise!

I see you'll be a newbie to WDW! I hope you love it! I just went to Disneyland for the first time this spring. It's so different!

It's easy. Pick the board you wish to post a new thread on and scroll to the bottom. You'll see a button that says new thread (similar to the post reply button). Simply click that and you can start a new post!

I started a PTR if any of you early 2012 planners would like to follow along :goodvibes

I subscribed to your PTR! I started one as well. I'll post the link up soon ;) Can't wait to hear all about your trip planning!

Did you enjoy Disneyland? I'm sure it is MUCH different. DH works for Disney and hears people say that WDW is MUCH bigger than DL. No need to worry though, I started my daily workouts soon enough, back to 115 lbs? Pshhh! Hopefully! :)
