Earliest we can leave the ship

We are doing a Baja cruise out of San Diego in October. We are looking to book our return flights soon. What is the earliest we can get off the boat? There is a flight leaving at 12:15 in the afternoon that would be ideal if the timeframe from the ship to the airport would work.

From Disney's website:

• Latest arrival time to San Diego International Airport on Embarkation Day: 2:15 PM
• Earliest departure time from San Diego International Airport on Debarkation Day: 11:45 AM

I'm not sure what time the ship will clear customs, but based on this a 12:15pm flight should be fine. If you did want to buy yourself some extra time in the morning, you could go to Cabanas for a quick breakfast and carry your own luggage off the ship. If you'd rather not carry your own luggage off, you can go to guest services and request that you be in the first group of luggage tags to be called to exit the ship (usually there is a note in the navigators telling those guests with early departure flight times to do this anyway).

If you've never been to the airport at San Diego, it's quite easy to get around (nothing like MCO). I'd think you'd be fine with your 12:15 flight (barring any major major issues clearing customs).

The airport is literally 10 minutes from the port. You should have no problem making a 12:15 flight.
