Earliest flight from Ft. Lauderdale?

I'm looking at return flights after our cruise out of Miami in January and it looks like I may have more options if I fly out of FLL than MIA (we're already flying into MIA). I've seen many people recommend the SAS shuttle from Port of Miami to FLL so I'll look into that. But what's the earliest flight time you recommend booking?

I know from experience cruising out of PC that I'm willing to book as early as 11 a.m. for flights from MCO, but unfamiliar with Miami debarkation process, travel time to airport, and other factors to consider that could affect departure flight time. Thanks for any info!
