Earliest ever special offer or pin?

Does anyone know when the earliest ever Disney has put out a special offer or gave someone a pin? We are planning for November 2013 and was curious about any specials that Disney may run for that time. Or has anyone called to see if they had a pin attached to their name for the following year? I think I saw in 2010 book by December ? And get free dining in the fall of 2011. Does anyone remember that one? We didn't use that one but got a 30% discount for our room which was the special they ran in the beginning of 2011. Thanks everyone!

I can only help with the sentence I highlighted. A CM told me that pin codes out right now are only for travel through Oct. (this year.) And they told me those Pin Codes were released in March....so roughly 7 months before travel.

There's no way that a Pin Code would be available right now for travel in November 2013. Maybe starting in January you could start the process by order custom maps, and a vacation DVD....just to get your account active and then see what happens.

Thanks for that info. I will definatley start inquiring around January for a pin but hopefully Disney will put out an early offer like they did for the UK!

Last year(2011) I got a pin in January that covered delect dates throughout the year(2011) up to December for free dining. Sadly I couldn't go last year and it went to waste.

In the fall of 2011 I rec'd a pin for 35% off any resort for all of 2012 with just a few blackout dates. I almost missed the pin because I already had a trip booked for December 2011 that included free dining. In January of 2012 I called to see if I had any pins attached to my name and they were able to tell me about the 35% offer.

Did you call to see if you had a pin or did Disney send it to you by email or snail mail? I would love to get 35% off our room but with five adults according to Disney free dining would save us more.

In refrence to what i turned yellow.
This isnt true, I currently have a pinned offer for "oct" but while messing around on the site to see if any dates out of oct worked, i discovered the first 2 weeks of dec were allowed. So im booking for Dec 9th to the 15th on a pinned offer

Now that's interesting. Did your PIN email have a link to follow for booking online? The last one I got (for 10% off) only gave the phone number to call for a reservation, so obviously, no playing around with the dates was possible.

Yepp It had a Link that said Book Now and had me enter the pin and my zipcode. It says its only offered for oct, and no options for nov or the first week in dec worked, but Dec 9th worked for me Which made me happy, since it gave me more time to save up for it, and i can be there for christmas

I remember that offer - we were going to use that one but unfortunately money was uncertain for my friend so we decided to go next year instead. I am hoping to see this offer again this year perhaps
