Earliest complimentary breakfast?

I'm looking to stay on Harbor Blvd near the Disneyland entrance. Given that we will be East Coast jet-lagged, my kids will be up real early. Plus, we plan on using Magic Morning at 7am.

I can't seem to find a hotel that has its breakfast start before 7am. Anyone know of a place that has an earlier breakfast start?

Most of the hotels seem to start at the same time. Have you thought of bringing some quick items, e.g. protein or cereal bars or fruit to keep your crew going until 7am? There are several stores within walking distance of the parks that sell groceries (CVS, 7-11, and ABC Mart), plus Vons delivery and Amazon Prime. If your hotel room has a refrigerator, you can even keep some milk on hand.

Maybe a stop at Starbucks or Jolly Holiday Bakery for some quick pastries? Sadly, I don't think most hotels are going to set up before 7 for the early birds. But it may be worth grabbing some McDonalds or Panera Bread for the first early entry day and avoiding the free breakfast. The mornings are the best in DLR, and you'll be doing great if you can beat plenty of others through bag check, because looking at the back up that occurs at rope drop is a depressing way to start a trip- even though the line moves fast!

Hotels will usually start setting up for breakfast well before the official start time because it takes awhile to get everything in place. Not everything will be available, but you can usually grab things like pastries, fruit, or cereal.

A post on Tripadvisor mentioned The Homewood Suites, Convention Center (The new one, located next to the Toy Story parking lot) breakfast starts at 6:30am

Best Western PPI apparently has a 6:30am start for its breakfast. That may be our best bet - quick fuel up and walk to the gate for Early Morning.

I know I can get for myself from a supermarket/drug store - I just hate doing that when I'm in a hotel that has a full breakfast coming included.
