Looking for flights for next summer for our 1st stay at BCV.
I can get early floghts which gets us to MCO around 10am
if we take ME and have lunch somewhere around BCV and get there around
1pm any chances of our two bedroom being ready?

we're also doing a DCL cruise would a noonish flight be too early?

thanks

You can only go and ask at the resort. It's less likely that a DVC room would be ready before the official check-in time, at 4 PM, than a regular resort room, due to higher occupancy levels. More people report never getting an early check-in than those that do. But you can always ask.

We always check-in early anyway and leave our stuff with the resort, then go out and do something for the day until the room is ready. I'd go to the resort first from the airport, and see if you somehow get lucky, and if not, leave your things and go to lunch.

We checked in this past June at 8 A.M on a Sunday morning and our 2 bedroom was ready! We did the on-line check-in. I don't know if that helped or not. Normally it is not ready until later in the day. I guess we lucked out.

Check in is AFTER 4PM. Not at 4PM, so any time you get it before 4PM, be pleasantly surprised.

If you are talking about a flight home after the cruise, you will usually be off the cruise ship by 8AM. Then you have to get to the airport after that (what transportation are you using).

During our recent July trip, we were able to check in at 8:30am and our
2BR/2Q was ready right then. We didn't do online checkin, so.....it happens! We were very happily surprised.

Good luck,
Diane

This past May I checked in at 7 AM and got right into my 1 bedroom unit. I wuz lucky. I also had done online checkin, but they could not find any of my stuff so I had to check in from scratch.

Sunday is usually the busiest day to check in. So be prepared for a longer wait on Sunday.

Yeah, I agree, Sunday will be busy with lots of checking in and out. Make some tentative plans and enjoy the afternoon. We did about what your timing is and we had lunch at Hurricane Hannah's and enjoyed Stormalong Bay. Front desk called my cell phone when the villa was ready and off we went. Other times we've spent our arrival day at Downtown Disney. Just figure out what the family wants to do and pack your carry ons accordingly. If it happens to be ready when you arrive, great. Just don't expect it before 4pm.

Have fun! We love the BCV!

We were also very lucky one year to check in at 8:00 and have our room ready. We were checked in, luggage unpacked and at Epcot for rope-drop.

I never expect the room to be ready upon checkin, that way I'm never disappointed, be prepared and have an alternate plan of something to do while waiting to get your room and if you get it earilier it's a bonus. You certainly don't want to hang around the lobby for hours. If you have a car go do your grocery shopping or just hang out at the pool.
I have had a room ready as early as 6am, and also haven't got it till well after 5pm.
