Earl of Sandwich

The Earl of Sandwich has been in the Marketplace for some time now. How many of you fine folks have tried it, and do you feel it is a good replacement for The Gourmet Pantry?

I tried the Earl during our Dec. trip and thought it was good and a very good addition to WDW. Very reasonably priced for WDW.

All the sandwiches start at around $5. for a big sandwich.

I had the tuna melt. Very good.

Definitely go back.

I miss the Gourmet Pantrty , but I love the earl of sandwhich. I wish they would have just moved the Gourmet Panrty or downsized it slightly, but I was impressed with the EOS (although it did take awhile to get my sandwhich.

We ate at Earl of Sandwich in Dec. It was very good and the sandwich's were quite large. I liked the pantry but, this works too.

We ate there in June. We thought it was good. It was busy, so it took awhile to get our sandwhiches though.

Never been to the Gourmet Pantry, but we absolutely love Earl of Sandwich! I've been there three times so far, and I can't wait to go back again. Their sandwiches are so, so good!

Another thumbs up for Earl of Sandwich here! We love their sandwiches...and if you have a few less adventurous people in your family, they are more than happy to make anything to their liking. This was great for us since we have a picky eater.

I can't wait to eat there again on our next trip!!

Pretty good. A good alternative place to eat when the hunger pangs hit, but you want something fast and easy.

I would prefer 2 of there sandwiches to a sit down meal at DTD anyday.

BTW that comes out to 4 different sandwiches. DW and I get 2 different sandwiches then spilt them. And we usually hit it twice.

I do have many fond memories of the Gourmet Pantry. But the earl of sandwich is very good. We love their Oriental Chicken Salad, simply a must on every visit. Now if they would only take the DDE card.

Mmmm I love the Earl of Sandwich! They're reasonable and the food rocks! They make the special salads right in front of you...and don't forget how good the Earl Grey Iced Tea is! OMG YUM!.....!!!!!!!

I was up there yesterday and we had lunch there (and dinner at Boma's... MOO! ) I can't remember the name of the sandwich I had but it was the BEST sandwich I've ever had! The bread is unique and so tasty. The fillings I ordered were fried chicken pieces with creamed spinach, mushrooms and cheese... provolone maybe or maybe mozzarella. Reasonable too at only $5.95. I'd go back there again!

Just awesome!

We ate there three times during our 7 day trip. We had serious longing for one close to home for weeks afterwards.

Gosh... now I really want their Caprese sandwich.. Mmm...

LOve Earl of Sanwich. I am not a big DTD fan at all - in fact I tend to avoid it if possible. But, EoS makes it worth the trip over.

I have very fond memories of Gourmet Pantry - I can't say that EoS is better, but it is a good replacement.
