Earl of Sandwich

love this place- it is definitely the best bang for your buck anywhere I've encountered in disney. Really good quality sandwiches and other goodies for less than $5!

I was up there yesterday and we had lunch there (and dinner at Boma's... MOO! :earboy2: ) I can't remember the name of the sandwich I had but it was the BEST sandwich I've ever had! The bread is unique and so tasty. The fillings I ordered were fried chicken pieces with creamed spinach, mushrooms and cheese... provolone maybe or maybe mozzarella. Reasonable too at only $5.95. I'd go back there again!

Roberta, I think you may be talking about the Florentine? I had it last time I went and loved this one too! Especially yummy on a cold day!

I looooooove the Earl of Sandwich. I had the best sandwich ever--the original roast beef. I substituted the horseradish sauce with ranch dressing. Yum. I also get a side salad with my meal for 95 cents. I think the prices are reasonable by Disney standards for excellent quality.

We love their sandwiches, ice tea and Mcvickers (?) potatoe chips. But what impressed me the most was the staff they employ. Those kids are on the ball. They all work great together and are extremely friendly.

We were there NYE and the sandwiches were $4.95. Dh and I both loved it and ate there 3 times during our trip.

I thought it was a great value, and wondered how long before they started raising prices because the line was so long!

We never got any "real" food from the Gourmet Pantry, only cookies and treats out of the big glass case. We've eaten at Earl of Sandwich a few times and love their sandwiches. Off to the side of Earl, they have a small candy store with the same glass cases full of great cookies, chocolates and other treats. We always stop by their after the sandwiches. IMO, a great addition to the DTD.

I LOVE THIS PLACE...The sandwiches are wonderful, one of the best roast beef sandwiches i have ever had and my DH swears by the turkey too. We ate there two differnt times last year, and made a point to go and eat there on our November trip. Used to love the Gourmet Pantry and picking out your salad and all, but this is also great..too bad they cannot have both!!! Big thumbs up from us here...

We were in DW from December 22 through Dec 29 and ate our first and last meal at Disney there. We loved it, the Caprese, Buffalo Mozarella, tomato, basil and olive oil with salt and malt vinigar chips. Yum Yum. Prices for all sandwiches were $4.95. Three of us ate for about $22 which is not bad for Disney. Also added tomato soup for $.95 which is the cheapest "real food" anywhere in Disney. We never went to the Pantry except for cookies and drinks so we surely don't miss it.

We (me and DD10) ate at EOS twice during our December trip and if would of had more time we would have squeezed in a 3rd trip. mmmmmmm The didn't really have anything on the menu that appealed to my daughter so they made her a BLT so she had that twice and LOVED it..... I am sure sometime during each trip we will make an appearance there. YUM

We ate our first meal there this past Dec. We all liked it very much. I had 1/2 a meatball and 1/2 a club, splitting them with my Mom. They were both good. DH had a turkey sandwich, the grandkids had grilled cheese and pbj. We all went away happy. I didn't have the tomato soup but they did and loved it. I'm wondering if the soup changes? Anyone have a different soup?

Their breakfast sandwiches are great too! Beats the heck out of McD's any day!

Stop! You're making me hungry!! EOS is definitely on my "must do" list! :jumping4:

Hi all :wave2:
I am making my debut here at this forum by telling you that
We love the Earl of Sandwich.
Yes, it can take a little time to get your food on busy days but that only tells me the sandwiches are made from scratch.

Thumbs up!!! princess:

Had the bleu cheese n beef. Excellent really tasty. Much better than Mcds for the price. :cool1:

Earl's is definatly on our must do list! Can't wait to try this place! Does anyone know how late they are open?

My family loves Earl of Sandwich. The fresh baked bread makes the sandwiches even better.

I want to say that Earl of Sandwich keeps the same hours as most of the Downtown Disney shops-- so 10:30pm or 11pm. I don't seem to recall them being closed, even when we were in the Marketplace area late in the evening.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. :)
